The three baby fuzzlets moved in with Bryce (roughly 10/11 months) last Thursday, when they turned five weeks. Everything has been absolutely easy-peasy.
From the very first night, the two black hoodeds (Donoghue and Griffin) have slept in the pocket hammock with Bryce, all cuddled up to him. It is so adorable. The PEW Egan, although there haven't been any major problems, seems to be a bit of a loner and it's a bit sad really - he sleeps all by himself underneath the towel at the floor of the cage.
Bryce is being so good with them. There have been no flippings or force-groomings at all. Any squeaks that ever come from the cage are from the babies wrestling amongst themselves. Bryce grooms them between their little fuzzy ears, lets them steal food from his mouth, leaves his tail in the open for them to ambush and doesn't even wake up when they do.
This morning I woke up to find little Egan in the snuggle sack, with Bryce sleeping on the lino with his head resting in the snuggle sack near him. I think he was keeping him company.

After Brekky I went back up to find Bryce lying like a dead rat with Griffin grooming his head. It was so cute.
My Bryce = the perfect "dad" rat.
