ok, does anyone know how to temp color a rats fur that wont harm them. heres the deal im goin to school for special fx makeup. so one thing we try to do, is do student films, and the school is pretty much a horror school. and i was thinkin of using my rats in a film. and so you know all precautions will be taken to make sure no harm should come to htem. if theres a chance it wont be done. but i was thinking you dont really see white rats in horror films. and i was thinkin maybe there is a way to temp color them to kinda look like wild rats. anyone know of anything.

You can use food coloring to make them different colors but nothing like a wild rat (which is usually a ticked agouti). Not sure what else you would be able to use -- sorry!

Well... The closest color to agouti you're going to get is brown.
You can mix red, blue, and yellow food dyes to make brown, but it wunt be perfect.
You also should keep it away from eyes and nose.
So they're prolly have little white circles...
