This morning as a special treat, the boys got to share a strawberry.  Quill and Jasper nibbled on it curiously, (Emmett was sleeping) and then Jacob realized they were getting something good and ran upstairs.  He stole the strawberry out of my hands, and I had to grab him to get it back.  It resulted in this adorable picture.

I love the guilty look on his face.

Jasper getting a nibble:

Eventually, I broke it into pieces and put it in their fresh food dish so they could all grab a bit.  Everyone else was content to grab a piece and wander into a corner to munch it, but Jacob had to stay hovering over the dish like a bulldog chowing down, and he even got a strawberry goatee.

They're some kind of mutant strawberry, I swear.     We got 2 cartons of them, and they're the biggest ones I've ever seen.  The one I gave to the boys was one of the smaller ones.   Yellow Cute Laugh

You know strawberries in the cage are dangerous. . . it never fails one of my rats will stash just the tiniest piece and I'll see it in the bedding and freak thinking someone is bleeding. LOL. I swear by now I'd remember to think what treat they had before panicking thinking blood.

Cute pics!

Tongue I hunted through their cage and cleaned up pretty good after their treat.  That's just the kind of thing I would see and freak out about.  "OMG IT'S BLOOD.. But.. no one's bleeding.. OMG WHAT IF IT'S INTERNAL?  *Rushes everyone to the vet*  Didn't see any pieces leftover when I was spot-cleaning the stray raisins this morning, so I think I got it all.

I wonder what food I'll have to try next with them..

We did some spaghetti noodles today.  They loved them.  Maybe more than they did their strawberries.  Such cutie babies!

oOo, I think we have some spaghetti noodles.  Uncooked, or cooked?  (Probably uncooked, but thought I'd ask.   Yellow Cute Laugh )  We have buttloads of pasta as my husband loves it, and I don't.  (So we buy it, and then never cook it..)

My boys love it cooked or uncooked. But they really love when it's cooked and has some of the marinara sauce on it.

Uncooked pasta is part of my daily food mix.
Somebody here (very accurately) described the noise of it being eaten as akin to a construction zone - audible from 3 rooms away!

Mine really like rotini. Smiley  They get it nearly daily, and they love it.  Never tried cooked stuff, though, will have to do that next time we have some. :3

Yup.
My kids aren't too fond of spagetti uncooked, but we experiment with al sorts of different noodles.
If you get them al eating it at the same time, it's insane. Tongue
