Proud mother of Merlin and the angel Sir Gawian

« on: May 11, 2008, 06:13:48 PM »

I can home from a weekend away from my house. After I was done cleaning the ratties cage I noticed that Merlin wasn't very energetic and had to give him a lift to get to the food bowl. He is after all 2 years old and past his prime. I probably will have to take him to the vet but I wanted to get someone else's opinion.

I try treats when rats are like that. If they have trouble responding, they're sick and not sleepy. I'm betting he's sick, though. Try to keep him warm and hydrated until you can get him to the vet.

No trouble responding to a yogie abd he's moving a round more. I'll see tomorrow what he is like before calling that vet. I wonder if rats get frusrated or something one you rearrange their cages after it's been the same way for ages.
