Cry  Play hard, Rue.  Find my sweet Specter ("Bliss" until she came to me), another of the Ojai girls, and play with her at the bridge.   Heart

It says on the site not to use tea tree oil, it would work to clean it, but I think it would mess up the silicon.

You're thinking of the Keeper cup. It's made of rubber and yes, oil would not be good for it. Tea tree oil is perfectly safe for the medical grade silicone cups.

Rats can surprise the daylights out of you!
I don't think anyone, including me, expected my old Dilbert Doo to still be around when the pictures of him with his Zymbal's Gland tumor started showing up...nearly 9 months ago now! In three weeks he celebrates the big 36 month birthday, and he's STILL not stopping. Earlier today he was resting in my arms getting his scritches when Pea took an interest in him and decided to groom his old Uncle Dilbert. Dilbert took GREAT exception to this...and I now have 2 very deep punctures in my forearm courtesy of the old man lol. I dunno whether it was his claws or his teeth, but either way, he wasn't taking any crap off 6 month old Pea rofl! Eat, sleep, pee, poop, and get lovin's, that's the life of an elderly rattie!

Just love on her and baby her, she may surprise you and out live everyone! Dilbert lives on the couch now, he's very happy there and doesn't want to be bothered by other rats. What ever Dilbert wants, Dilbert gets! (the couch is covered with towels, blankets, and his sheet, he doesn't make it to the litter pan any more)

I wonder if you could use it towards a larger bag and get $6.99 off? Lol. Doubt it though. Thanks!

If I were you I'd actually go to the store and ask.  A coupon is a coupon right?  I would think maybe a store like petsmart or petco (not a grocery store) might honor the coupon.  If not just get the free bag on YN that costs 6.99 Smiley

Ear piercings are just plain hard to heal.  They can stay sore for a long time and they HURT.

One of the reasons why they don't heal is because of your hair constantly touching them.  It's kind of the same way with piercings on your face.  I agree to find a good shop to get it pierced in and do some research online.  Also expect it to take pretty much a full year to heal completely (sometimes they won't heal in a year, my body hates healing piercings so it usually takes me awhile)

Saline solution that you buy (as long as it's saline and not no rub stuff!) or a mixture you make yourself with sea salt and water works great for peircings.  I also use clear antibacterial soap...saline just isn't enough for me.

I don't want to hyjack Chelsey's thread, but I am WEAVER from Guinea Lynx.  I also own The Cozy Cavy.  I made your piggies' their beds

I am new to ratties and just got my girls yesterday.  Chelsey is spoiling them (and me), which I must admit it's kind of nice having someone make my furkids' stuff for a change  laugh

Hey Scrubbs! I have a question for you!! Where did you get that red/orange thing that is in your FN on page one (first pic/bottom level)? It was in the Rat Magazine by Critters USA, and I have been dying to know ever since. Thanks!!

Its the Ferret Boat by PetZone.  I bought it when it was reduced at a local pet store, and then after that they were only available from a certain zoo enrichment website.  Now that the website no longer offers them, I haven't a clue where to buy one  Tongue  I sold mine a year or more ago.
