What kind of bird/birds do you have?

Someone has probably asked this before, but I'm new on the bird forum.
My username is cuterat and I mostly hang out around the rat forum.

What kind of birds does everybody here have?

I have a green cheek conure. I've had him since he was practically a baby and he's 12 yrs old now. He was actually an impulse buy....I swear, HE chose ME. He's quite a character and I just adore him. He loves me to pieces and has been mimicing me ever since I got him. He even mimics me in the way I sleep; he sleeps on his back!! yes, on his back...He's been doing this since he was about 8months old.

We have 2 cockatiels and a whole bunch of budgerigars.

The 2 cockatiels and one budgie live in the house with us, we keep all the other budgies in an aviary in the garden.

We have two cockatiels, and used to have a couple budgies. 

I miss the noise and ruckus that only many, many irritated budgies can make

There's nothing quite like a whole bunch of budgies yelling at once People think I'm nuts cos I sit in the aviary for hours at a time to get some peace LOL

I don't think they understand just how sweet that can be when it means I don't have to listen to the kids bickering hahahah
