Want to adopt a Conure or quaker in Normal, IL

Hi There! I am in Normal, IL and my name is Melissa. I have been doing research on owning a pet bird for quite some time now and have decided that now I am ready. I am partial to conures, especially suns but would also be interested in adopting a Quaker. I have been on contact with breeders of these beautiful birds but would first like to put out the offer to take in one and adopt one in need of a home, a rescue bird. I am willing to pay an adoption fee and sign an adoption contract. I am also willing to drive up to 3 hours to pick up a bird. This bird will live in a loving home, get amazing vet care (I have references) and get tons of one on one attention and up to 8 hours a day outside of the cage (we are setting up large perches in our doorways, along with a large swing to hang from our ceiling) If you have a Conure or Quaker (or another kind of bird possibly) that is searching for a forever home let me know because I am interested in hearing more about your little sweetie! I know this was from a while ago but are you still looking for a bird in IL? My moms co worker doesn't want her two cockatiels because they can't give them enough time. I just thought i ask.
