Tiels gettign along with other birds

I was curious if a green cheek conure could be friends and hang out with a tiel? I currently have a lone tiel and would love to get another bird later down the road. I really love conures Ive never owned them but have been around them when I worked at petco. Griffin my tiel is a sweet heart and really likes having a buddy to talk to I have baby sat my moms tiel and love bird before and griffin my tiel had a blast.

You could try taking them out sometimes,to play with each other,but obviously you can't house them in the same cage.
