Ki-Lang nodded,"Where in the castle do you think he is?""....I would think he's in the dungeon..." Andy started to walk out of the alley, but then turned around,"Stay close. You'd be surprised how many weirdoes are around here." Ki-Lang walked up to him and grabbed his hand,"Never let go." Andy smirked,"Not a problem." He started down the street, weaving and avoiding everyone. There were a lot of people out in the streets, trying to sell things and making weapons. It took what seemed forever, but they were finally toward the front of the castle.

Arwen got up, and wordlessly walked down the forest path again. She glared around at the trees, cursing at them silently in her head. She froze, and saw a light up ahead, it looked silvery, and wispy, in the shape of a person she recongnized, the Spirit of-"Kianna." Arwen whispered, her eyes filling with tears again. "Even if she is dead, I'm not losing sight of her. I've already lost her too many times before, nothing is going to stop me now." she said to herself, and dashed towards 'Kianna'. "Kianna! It's me, Arwen! Whatever you do, just stay there!" Arwen called, sprinting towards Kianna. Kianna looked over, and then started to walk away, Arwen could feel her stomach churning. "No! Not that way, walk this way! It's me!" she shouted, running as fast as she could. Kianna suddenly vanished, Arwen skidded to a halt, heartbroken. "My family keeps leaving me behind, now they've done it again...." she said sadly, then noticed that Kiana's Spirit was standing by a nearby tree. "This way leads you out. But the next part isn't the end of this forest." Kianna said, pointing. Then she really did vanish, Arwen just stood still, and stared. "Ok..." she said slowly, and walked towards the way Kianna had pointed. After a few minutes, Arwen could see a bright light up ahead, and raced towards it. "Freedom!" Arwen shouted excitedly, dashing around trees and bushes. She stumbled over a tree root, and tumbled out into a large clearing. Arwen sighed with relief, there was light here, the moon was in the sky. "That forest was really weird, there was no light at all..." she muttered, staring happily up at the moon. Arwen took a look around, and frowned. The clearing wasn't all what she had expected; it was a very large battlefield, and there were still bodies on the ground, and signs that there had been some kind of war going on here.

"Hmm..." Andy walked around to the one side of the castle."I think we can get in through there." he pointed to a window near the grass."I'll go first." he walked over to the window, silently opened it, then jumped down. Ki-Lang walked forward, cautiously,"Come on. I'll catch you." Ki-Lang walked to the window and jumped down, he did catch her,"Told you." He set her on her feet and then walked forward in the darkness, his hand still attached to hers. There was a small creak, and they stepped through a doorway. There were a bunch of rusty cells, but only one of them had a person in them."Who's there, who's there, who's there, who's there?!" The person repeated again and again. They walked to the cell, the person jumped to the front of the cage,"Pretty girl, pretty girl, pretty girl, pretty girl." Ki-Lang looked over at Andy and then back to the cell,"Where's Franky?""Franky, Franky, Franky, Franky taken.""By who?""Prettty girl want to know, pretty girl want to know?" It didn't take long for them to figure out that this guy was crazy. Ki-Lang nodded."Franky taken, Franky taken, Franky taken to DIE!!!!" The guy let out a crazy laugh and then jumped back into the corner of is cell. Andy turned toward a staircase and headed up it."What did that guy mean?""Just what you think. They're going to kill him. We'll have to get there before he dies."

Arwen slowly looked over the battlefield, and shape-shifted back to normal, horror-struck. She stared at the bodies on the ground, and realized that most of the people that were dead were Wood Elves--the other were some creatures and humans on Zurn's side--..."Gone. They're all gone." Arwen whispered sadly to herself, tears sliding down her face. "Here's Alrya's answer as to why she couldn't find them; now they really are all dead." she muttered, and walked to the middle of the field, then sat down on her knees, her head down. Arwen put her hands over her face, and sobbed, thinking things over.
This is all my fault. I didn't take care of my people well enough, I abandoned them....
Part of her felt extremely guilty, the other was arguing with herself.
But THEY abandoned ME, a long time ago....Really, they're just being paid back.
"Stop it." Arwen snapped at herself, tucking a lock of her now-raven-black hair behind her ear. Arwen heaved a sigh, and covered her face again, crying into the palms of her hands. Arwen sniffled, and looked up at the sky. "Calm down, at least you're not dead....There's nothing you can do to help them, they're already gone...You just need to get yourself out of here....Alive." Arwen said to herself, and sighed again. She decided to sing to herself, that always calmed her down. Arwen sifted through the few Elven songs she knew, and chose her mother's lullabye. Arwen's soft voice carried through the air, normally she was a bit shy about singing aloud, but anyone in the battlefield was already dead anyways, so it didn't matter. "I'd recognize that song anywhere, it has a nice tune." A sudden voice made Arwen jump, she gave a small a shriek, and looked around wildly. "Who said that?" Arwen asked nervously, still looking around. Something touched her shoulder, Arwen realized that the preson was now right behind her, but she accidentally fell down first, face-down. Arwen shakily got back up, spitting dirt and grass out of her mouth. She wiped off her mouth, and realized that the grass she had in her mouth had been stained with the blood from someone who had been killed. Arwen just wiped off her mouth again, and ignored the taste of blood in her mouth. Then she turned around to see who was behind her; she was definitely relieved when she saw who it was.

(Lol. So photobucket isn't working?)
"So, why isn't the boss giving you off?""He said something like we had to kill some ingrate tomorrow.""Where'd he get 'em?""That one upsetting town. Let me tell you the boy is weird. He has obsidian black hair but his eyes are as blue as sapphires.""Think they're real?""I dunno. We can always check after he's dead." Andy kept his hand clamped against Ki-Lang's mouth as they pressed against a wall, hiding from the two people walking down the hallway."They're talking abuot Franky..." Andy murmured softly to himself, Ki-Lang heard him. She strained her ears to hear them. For some reason, this building structure made it difficult to hear. Once the guards were out of sight, Andy looked around the corner, making sure no one else was coming. He let go of Ki-lang and looked around the castle."Franky will die tomorrow?""Yeah. We have until then. Unfortunately, they didn't say when. We should look for him tonight. Better start now, this place is pretty freakin' huge."

"Ian!" Arwen squeaked happily. Without thinking, she suddenly hugged him, they both blushed, and Arwen quickly jumped back, and looked away. "Sorry," she said hastily, grinning sheepishly. Ian was a Wood Elf, about thirteen years old, or so he looked it, anyways, as Arwen looked twelve years old. Ian had short, wavy blonde hair, with black streaks in it, and wore light leather armor, over a plain white shirt, and baggy black pants, he was a friend of Arwen's, and Ian always reminded Arwen of Aron, in his looks. Arwen was still blushing slightly, she had a bit of a crush on Ian, though she didn't tell anyone of this, except for Saphira. There was an awkward silence between them, until Arwen blurted out,"I thought you were dead!" "Well, same here, I was surprised when I saw you sitting out here, then I heard your song..." Ian replied, Arwen couldn't think of anything to say, she just stared into his dark brown eyes, Ian quickly looked away, Arwen held down a giggle.
Maybe he likes me...
she thought hopefully, then looked away as well.
Ugh, I have to think of something to say to him! Instead, I'm just gawking at everything around me...Why am I acting like this? I'm acting like a lovesick puppy, normally I'm stronger than this....
"...So..." Arwen started, still not looking at Ian, he was still staring at the ground. Arwen suddenly sank to her knees, and burst into tears, she couldn't hold it in much longer. "Everyone's dead, they're all gone! I was hoping this wouldn't happen, and it did anyways, it's all my fault!" she said through her sobbing, her voice was shaky. Ian hugged her, Arwen held her breath, blushing again, but she trembled all over anyways, and cried into his shoulder. "It's not your fault." Ian said firmly, but calmly, Arwen wiped her eyes. "Yes, it is my fault! I was supposed to lead all the other Elves to safety, and I failed! I can't do anything right!" she sobbed, Ian was silent, but he kept his thoughts to himself;
I can't think of anything to say that will comfort her....Admitting to her that I like her would make ME feel more relieved, I don't know about her, though...
Arwen was also thinking, though not about the other Wood Elves.
I love him, but I don't care if he doesn't like me back, I'm used to having my heart broken, I just don't have time for important relationships in my life, seeing as it's always being threatened...
Arwen was starting to feel a bit embarrassed, she hesitated to say something, but then finally decided on,"Uh....You can...Let go now." "Oh, right, sorry.." Ian let go of her, Arwen backed up, and sat back on the ground, staring at the ground. They were both thinking the same exact thing right then;
Stupid awkward silences.
((Yeah, photobucket is being stubborn right now, though once it's working again, IF it is, I'll find a pic.

(Lol, no problem!)
"Where should we look?" Ki-Lang looked around the castle, it was huge. Andy paced back and forth while he thought,"I don't know where he could be. This place is huge and he could be anywhere." he walked over to one of the walls and banged it with the bottom of his fist,"Where the hell are you Franky?!" he mumbled to himself. Ki-Lang walked over to him,"Don't worry, Andy. We'll find him.""Before or after he's dead?""How about before?" Ki-Lang spun around and Franky was standing there,"Franky?!" Ki-Lang ran over and hugged him,"Gee, didn't know I was missed this much...""I'm just happy you're not dead. Then I'd have to deal with Andy while he's all pissy." Franky laughed,"Good point." he looked over at Andy,"How about we get out of here BEFORE we are captured?""Good idea. You two head out a while, I'LL keep watch this time." Ki-Lang and Franky hurriedly left the castle and waite outside for Andy. he was with them within a few minutes,"Alright guys. Let's head back awhile." They walked down the streets and eventually came across the portal, taking them back to the rundown church....

Arwen was still staring at the ground, she would look at anything but Ian, apparently he was doing the same. Arwen suddenly giggled, and laughed slightly, then Ian started to laugh, and they were both laughing, until Arwen said,"ANYWAYS...." They both straightened up, Ian actually looked over at her, Arwen didn't look away. "Uh, why were we laughing?" Ian asked, Arwen shrugged. "I guess I was laughing because of the awkward silences.....You?" "Laughter is contagious." he replied with a slight smirk, Arwen grinned, and stood up. "We should get going, I need to find my way back to our camp area...." she trailed off, and looked over at him. "So, where were you the whole time, when we thought both of us were dead, after the Elven kingdom was destroyed?" Ian paused for a moment, the replied,"My family and I managed to ecape, and we went to a far-of town, hidden well, with a lot of magical protection around it, we lived there for a while....Recently, the town was attacked by....Uh...I forget his name, starts with the letter 'Z'..." Arwen could feel her stomach flip. "Zurn?" she asked, hesitating to say the name, Ian nodded. "Yeah, Zurn, that was it....He attacked the town, and we barely escaped. My dad was killed, the rest of my family fled to another town...That one on the mountains, that the guards suggested." "How come I didn't see you, when I was at that town? I lead all the Elves down the mountain..." Arwen said, frowning, Ian shrugged. "I was probably somewhere else at the time, I don't know...." They both fell silent again, Arwen just stared at the ground as they walked. They both tensed up, at the sound of some bushes rustling nearby, Arwen whipped out her bow before Ian had time to react. They both waited to see who was coming towards them....Arwen raised her bow, but then stopped once she heard Alrya's voice,"Put that down, it's just me!"

"We're back?" Ki-Lang asked as she looked around,"Yup." Franky had answered the question, he was there before Andy was. Andy rolled his eyes,"So, Ki-Lang. Do you want to see the ridiculous parade, or do you want to go back and see your other friends?""...I think I'll head back. The parade might make me go a little loopier than I already am." Andy smirked,"Alright. I'll take you back." Ki-Lang walked over and hugged Franky,"I'll see you later." she commented as she pulled back, he winked at her,"Of course." She smiled and then headed down the stairs, Andy following behind. It still seemed like there was no one around; that was a good thing. After a few minutes of walking they were back to the alleyway where she had entered before. Ki-Lang turned around before she left,"I'll see you later?" he nodded and then kissed her lightly. Before he pulled back he whispered something into her ear,"Good luck with the boyfriend. And I'll be sure to visit every now and then. Leave the portal traveling to me, you'fve already done enough for a lifetime." Seconds after he finished, Ki-Lang found herself back in the valley a foot or so from the portal.

Arwen shrugged, and put her bow back in her quiver, Alrya was staring at Ian. "I thought you were killed?" "We all did." Arwen said dryly, rolling her eyes. She looked over at Alrya,"How'd you find us? I was lost on that trail forever..." "My path was easier, I guess. It just had a lot of walking, then I ended up here." Alrya replied, looking around the battlefield. "What happened here?" "I don't know. I kind of stumbled upon this place, --seriously--, I don't know what happened. Most of them are some of our people...." Arwen trailed off, tears in her eyes, she quickly wiped them away; Ian was staring at her, with a concerned look on his face, Arwen didn't want him to be worrying about anything. They were all silent, until Arwen said,"I think I may be able to teleport us back. I can feel more of my magic returning, it should work." Ian and Alrya nodded, Arwen stpped back, and was deep in thought for a moment. "The teleportation spell....Right, I think I remembered it." she said, and held out her hands, Ian quickly grabbed her hand, Arwen blushed furiously, her hair turned about the same shade of pink, she hoped nobody would notice that she was embarassed. Arwen looked around,"Alrya? Where'd you go?" No response, Arwen frowned. Ian walked away into the woods, then raced back after a minute,"Come on, let's just get out of here!" he said, Arwen was confused. "What's the rush? You weren't so tense a minute ago." "That guy, Zurn's here!" Ian explained, Arwen widened her eyes. "What about Alrya? He'll kill her, we can't leave her behind!" "Yeah, and he'll kill us, too, now let's get going!" Arwen hesitated, but then gave in. She sighed, and started to recite the spell, her hands started to glow, Ian grabbed one of her hands, there was a flash of blue light, and they both vanished. The next moment, they were both slammed onto the ground, at the camp area. Arwen excitedly jumped up, even though every bone in her body was aching like crazy. "The camp!" was all she could say, Ian just nodded, and got up, dusting dirt off his clothes. Arwen laughed a bit, for some reason, and swayed slightly in place, Ian stared at her. "You OK?" he asked, Arwen gulped, and nodded, feeling really weird and light-headed. "I'm fine....I'm just hungry, I need to eat something, before I start to hallucinate again." "Wait right here, I'll be right back!" Ian dashed off into the woods, Arwen had a strong temptation to shout, 'Don't leave me!' but then decided that it would be a little too weird for her to say, it was too unlike her. She just sighed, and sat down on the ground, waiting for any of her friends to return. It was nearly midnight, they had been gone all day, Arwen was starting to get annoyed...

Ki-Lang walked back up to the castle, still thinking about the strange day she had had. Everyone was there and they were talking about what they had done, Ki-lang felt slightly awkward walking in, everyone stared at her. There was a burst of excitement from one of them,"Ki-Lang!" Chris ran over to her and hugged her, Ki-Lang smiled,"I'm happy to see you too Chris." She looked up at the others,"Guys, as much 'fun' as it is here, we should head back. I really need to see Arwen and make sure she's ok." Everyone agreed and they went back to the camp, one by one. Ki-Lang was the first one to arrive at the camp, then she saw Arwen,"Arwen! You're ok!"

Arwen opened one eye, and nodded. She had been resting, until Ian got back. Arwen yawned, and stretched her arms. "If you guys don't have any exciting adventures to share, then I'll have to share mine, because I've been waiting here all day..." she trailed off, when she saw Ian walking out of the woods, carrying some fruit. He dropped them onto Arwen's lap, she smiled slightly. "Thanks." Ian just nodded, and walked away, to go sit in a tree. Arwen stared after him, gazing at him. She then realized then realized that Ki-Lang was standing next to her, Arwen came back to reality,"Hm? Oh, did you say something?" she knew that her friends had just gotten back, but didn't exactly take in the thought. Arwen looked over at Ian again,"Ian! Come and meet my other friends!" she called, he shrugged and walked back towards them. Arwen quickly got up, blushing slightly, her hair turned silver once Ian stopped on front of her. "Uh....These are my friends..." Arwen stammered, she fell silent, and looked away, then over at Ki-Lang. "You guys...Can introduce yourselves, I'm gonna go see Saphira and Athora..." Arwen quickly dashed over to Saphira, before anyone could do or say anything. Ian gave Arwen a bit of a weird look as she left, but then shrugged it off.

Ki-Lang had to bite down on the corner of her lip to keep it from turning into a smile. She could tell exactly what was going on. Before Ki-Lang had the chance to say anything, Ryan was next to her, confused,"Shoul I know who this is?" Ki-Lang giggled sligthly,"No, it's one of Arwen's friends." Ryan was slightly confused,"Oh." then he caught onto how Ki-Lang had worded it,"Ooh. Sorry, I had a moment there... I'm Ryan.""Ian.""Guys, get over here!" Ki-Lang called behind her shoulder. They all came over,"Guys, this is Ian..." Everyone started talking, Ian even joined in on the conversation. Ki-Lang, however, was scanning the forest for Arwen. She finally spotted Saphira, and Arwen was nearby. She got up from sitting on the floor and headed over,"So, Arwen... Ian seems nice..."

((Site was down....))
Arwen scowled darkly at Ki-Lang, but just rolled her eyes. Arwen looked over at Ian again, he was talking to Ryan. "He reminds me of Aron....This whole time, I thought Ian was dead...." Arwen mumbled, then shrugged. She picked up Athora,"Let's go prank someone, I need to get my mind on something else..." Arwen said, Athora excitedly squirmed around, and jumped down, then dashed off into the woods, Arwen followed behind her, she didn't want everyone to know that she liked Ian, but it was already obvious. Saphira gave a small snort, and smirked, looking over at Ian. "Arwen always did like him, she was just too shy to admit it. They both were. Now hopefully, once he's her boyfriend, he won't try to lure her to Zurn, Zurn would probably love to possess Ian, and use him as an excuse to capture Arwen....It's one of Zurn's favorite techniques, he gets onto the mind of people that Arwen loves, --usually relatives-- and then uses them as little puppets to get to her. Arwen probably likes Ian too much to realize this, though. For now, though, let's just hope Ian is actually normal." Saphira laughed slightly, shaking her head.

Ki-Lang did notice the scowl but shrugged it off,"She thinks I was making fun of her! Well, I thought it was kind of cute... It's about time she found someone.""But she's only 12.""Yes, but she's been alive for hundreds of years.." Ki-Lang shrugged and walked back over to the others."...so you really are blind?""As a bat." Ki-Lang rolled her eyes, Lindsey looked over at her,"Ki-Lang, what did you do? Where did you go?""Where?""At Lyleburg.""Oh, I met-" Ki-lang was cut off by someone behind her,"She met us." She recognized the voice and spun around, it was Andy. Seconds afterward, Franky showed up, he looked traumatized."Franky? What happened?""Parade." Ki-Lang giggled and turned back to Andy,"How did you find me?""The portal that you guys used was wide open. Just kinda hopped through.""Anyways.... guys, this is Andy and that is Franky." Andy looked over at Franky and noticed him eyeing Abella,"Dude." His head flicked over,"What?""Give it a rest." Andy looked at Abella,"Ignore him, he's a player.""Am not!" he rolled his eyes and looked back over, studying each person. Ryan was curious as to what he was doing,"Uh, what are you doing?""Seeing who I remember..." Andy looked at Ki-Lang,"Arwen's not here?""Nope.""And the girl Franky was looking at is Abella, yes?" Ki-Lang giggled slightly but then nodded,"Good, that means I'm not crazy."

A few minutes later, Arwen walked out of the woods, muttering angrily about something, she had cuts all over her arms, legs and face. "Stupid Marsells and their tranquilizers, how was I supposed to know each and every one of them was carrying one..." Arwen huffed angrily, and leaned against a tree, Ian started to walk towards her, Arwen was about to say that she was perfectly fine, until she noticed Franky and Andy. Arwen frowned slightly, and stepped towards them, eyeing them suspicously. "Who are you?" Arwen sounded more annoyed, rather than confused or curious. Arwen stepped back slightly, and gave an unsatisified hiss. "Whatever, I don't need to know, I just need to find those damn Marsells again, and rip them apart....Ian, want to come?....Ian?" Arwen looked around, a bit confused. "Where'd he go?" she asked, still looking around for him. Arwen shrugged,"More kills for me." She took out her bow, and smirked crookedly, laughing slightly.
