The oil company filled up my tank this morning and left the bill in my door: $809.00 and the tank was only half empty before the fillup. I forgot to cancel my automatic delivery while I was looking for a cheaper place to buy oil, meanwhile they come in July and fill me up. I can't believe it, they have never come in July before. I guess they need money. I need to find a cheaper way to heat my house...................
We've been thinking of getting a wood pellet stove as its suppose to be a cost effective way to heat one's house, but we never really went out and looked at them.

Yeah, my parents had a similar sticker shock.  They've been working on renovations for their house, though, which includes putting a fan over their woodstove that will move the heat out into the living room.  Pretty sure the fan is completely powered by the heat rising off the stove, too.  They've also added new insulation, so, they're hoping that this winter won't be as expensive as last...
