Rescue! They need love too!

WWW
« on: August 05, 2008, 03:26:36 PM »

I am looking at taking on some of the girls from BlueFrog. However I need to get them from there to either Madison, or all the way up near here(wausau WI) or to Rhinelander WI. I do have some people willing to chip in for gas money if that helps. I can probably take in teo older males that Ratlovingkippy06 has that need a home as well. IS there anyone in southern WI that can help out? Shaz

I'm in Rockford, and could probably take them up to Beloit, maybe farther once our car is fixed, but I have NO idea if that'll even be useful for you.  :S  If if it is fixed, our gas mileage isn't going to be great, but I see BlueFrog enough anyway that it won't be out of my way to get some from her and transfer them up.  If we got our car in REALLY good condition, I could see if we could make it all the way to Madison, but I'm not sure yet.  What kind of time frame are you looking at?

We go to Madison enough so that with a little gas money help we can transport from Beloit to Madison.

What ever works out for everyone. I am still trying to get ahold of my contact in Madison to see if they can meet up with whomever is going to bring them there. I will keep you posted. Shaz

I will be driving to Rockford on Friday. How many Gaia bubs am I bringing, and which ones?  Blue Dumbo Smile

(Seriously, if we're on, now might be an ideal time to start the train).

I live in Greenfield near the Southridge Mall.  I don't drive, but I could hold them if someone can get them to me, but the next train person couldn't make it at that time.  Just let me know.  Basically, just a pit stop.  XD

Shaz, I will be driving from Chicago back to MN on Sunday, Sept. 14. I'm not sure where the rats are currently located but if it works out I can help transport to Rhinelander. The closer to Chicago the better since I'd rather go up 41 and cut over to you, but I can for sure do it. PM me here or email me at mandycburgess@gmail.com with info. Smiley

If anyone involved in surrendering wanted to pitch in some money for gas, that'd be fantastic...last time I transported from IL it was a big drain on my finances and while I certainly don't do it for the money, it would be seriously appreciated.

rhinelander rat rescue, were you interested in taking in some "extras" to adopt out? That's an idea I'm all for - take as many as you want! - but as far as I knew, you were just looking for one or more to keep. I'm completely OK with either or both, but after reading Mandycoot's post would just like to know. I'll also need to know which ones you're interested in. As far as transport arrangements, I certainly don't want to inconvenience or financially drain anyone involved! Let me know what works for you and I'll do my best to work around it.

Our vehicle issue has been fixed (and then some, a working car!  Hyper ) and I'm eager to get on the road and away from the house.   Cheeky   So if getting them up to Beloit/possibly a bit farther (Depending on time-schedule/gas situation.) would help, just pester me.  I trick Bluefrog into meeting with me regularly, so I could get the rats you are adopting from her and to Southern WI at least.
