Dear whom concerned,

I am writing to you with urgency in the hope that your organisation might be
able to help with a desperate situation. Rainbow Ark Sanctuary in
Durhamfaces closure tomorrow and all the animals will have to be
killed if £3,000
is not raised.

Paula who runs the sanctuary was in the news recently having chained herself
to the 'Angel of the North' and this weekend gone had planned to do the same
stunt in London, plus two other fundraisers. However her daughter was
attacked and so she had to spend that time in hospital with her and is now
praying for a miracle.

She is at breaking point but is out in her chicken costume again today, in a
last attempt to raise money. I am trying to help spread the word and raise
as much money as much as possible, but don't think it will be enough with
the short time we have, so thought it was worth a try contacting animal
organisations, something which Paula is unable to do much of having not got
a phone line anymore due to having nothing left, nor having internet access.

Please see my blog on myspace for more details at: (please note: for those
who can't view the blog because they don't have a myspace profile, please
see the copied blog information below)

for further info please contact Paula on

If you are unable to help, perhaps you can suggest something else?

Regards

Adele Tyrala

This would mean the loss of 45 acres of land and the destruction of the
animals looked after at the sanctuary by Paula Campbell.

"Children with special needs visit here, animals have peace here, this is
home to so many, why can't they leave us alone, what evil some people are.
We are pleading, begging, hoping and praying the work will hear our call for
help before it is too late. We need money to pay the bank off or they are
going to take everything we have worked 22 years for. Please find a way, any
way to stop the closure of the sanctuary. We don't have e-mail at present as
the office phone is cut off, it was pay that or the feed bill.
We are being bullied are threatened and no one is helping us Please Help!

Paula is in this mess because a (con)man over evaluated land and now needs
to raise £25,000 in total-£3,000 is needed immediately to bide more time
till she raises the rest.

Last Friday 22nd Aug the mortgage people told her they were going ahead with
their plans to evict, so in desperation she had planned to do 3 fundraisers
over the weekend.
However, her daughter was attacked and ended up in hospital and so she was
unable to

She has since tried to call them but they have been 'to busy' to talk to
her, therefore she's presuming they are going ahead with the eviction 28days
from last Friday (19th Sept) - however she told me she will not be moving
when they come!

Paula was recently in the news when she chained herself to the 'Angel of the
North' in a plea for help (See: Widow's desperate stunt to save animal
sanctuary)

HOW YOU CAN HELP!

* Donate:Either by the chip in button below or via cheque/postal order ? any
amount is greatly appreciated!

* Support her Demo: Paula is planning on going to London to chain herself to
an animal monument, in order to get in the press to get more support ? but
she doesn't think there will be as much point if she doesn't have support
there.
She is looking at going down next Thurs/Fri - feedback from local groups and
individuals would be appreciated

* Ebay Auction: If you have anything you could donate to sell on ebay;
signed pictures, antiques etc

* Benefit Gig: We are proposing a benefit gig at the sanctuary, people would
be able to stay over in tents ? what we need is stage and bands to come play
who will draw in a crowd

* Petition to the mortgage company in the pipeline

* Buy Her Book Norah A Chicken from
http://www.penpress.co.uk<http://www.%20penpress.co.uk>
/ <http://www.%20penpress.co.uk>:- Norah dreams of a life that her mother
told her of - a life of freedom to roam outside in the sunshine eating
lovely fat juicy worms. The harsh truth is, you see, Norah and her fellow
chickens exist in small, overcrowded cages, in a dark, dirty and smelly
barn. One day, after much commotion, the chickens are brutally gathered up
and driven away to face their destiny, and Norah is inadvertently separated
from the rest of the chickens. That's when she finds herself on a long and
courageous journey to try and find her friends, set them free, and lead them
to the idyllic life they all deserve.
Children will love this beautifully written fictional tale, which brings the
very real issues of animal cruelty to the forefront

* Spread this Info!: Repost this bulletin, spread the info in animal groups,
around email lists etc would be really appreciated!

ANY OTHER IDEAS-PLEASE LET ME KNOW ? THANK YOU
