I went to this big pet expo this weekend and picked up a couple of cat toys for the boys. According to the vendor, all of her catnip is home grown and fresh, and all cats love it. I had my doubts, but they were cute toys, so I figured, for a dollar each, I'd give them a try. Well, I have never seen a reaction like this before! They both rolled around with one for about ten minutes, and when I finally took the away so they could have a break they were pretty much completely high. They kept stealing them back off the table I put them up on, and all today they keep coming back and rolling around with them some more. It's hilarious.

And a video! Here's the link if the picture doesn't work.

Watching a cat go bonkers over catnip is one of my favourite shows!  It's just too funny!  Yellow Cute Laugh

How fun!  Did you happen to get that vendor's information so you can get more things from them?  Or share with us?  Smiley

Definitely going to have to check that stuff out!  My two boys are HARD on their catnip toys.  The Petsmart that's about an hour away from us sells catnip toys that are made out of heavy canvas (we call them Catnip Toys for Great Danes) but our boys can still tear them open in a couple of days.

Well, the little pillow toys that I bought were pretty much completely destroyed in two days, but they definitely loved the while they had them. Maybe you could request that she make a sturdier toy.

Hah! I found some catnip growing wild on our patio and our cats were rolling in it having a good time when I brought it in. Now I know why Nanna is always so desperate to escape  Roll Eyes
