We are calling him Fred and he has a story.

Fred was brought to our clinic in Carmel, IN (close to Indianapolis, IN) by his owner to treat a UTI. He's had a history of UTI's and this one was being stubourn. We still felt it was extremely treatable. When prescribed another round of antibiotics and to be kept on a supportive prescription urinary support diet the owner was talking euthanasia! We said no and asked if he wanted to surrender the cat to us.

It's been a few weeks but the urinary tract infection is clear! We had to put him under to unblock his bladder. But now he's king of the clinic. Trouble is we can't find an owner yet. None of us can take him in and we are having a hard time getting the no kill shelters to take him in too. So if you would like to adopt an adorable black and white male neutered kitty who needs that extra love the just tell me! We can get started on the application.

Also if you know of fosters or no kill shelters that will take him in please contact me! I don't want him to go to a kill shelter and I have 3 cats. Whenever I pick this cat up he licks my chin. When I stoop down to get something he runs up and licks my arm. He's such a lover and so handsome and so wants to go home.

I will take my camera in to work tomorrow and get a picture. Just thought I would post this now ^_~ Keep in mind he needs to be kept on a prescription urinary diet and possible once or even twice year urinalysis done to keep him in the clear! But he is doing incredible on the urinary diet.

Transportation can be arranged to any number of places or staff is willing to travel (this can be a larger area than you think so just ask).
