I keep seeing smillees avatar and I want some imp potion!

Anyway I completely changed my avatar, I got tired of the pink and I finally found hair that I like!

Thanks for the adds, guys, I didn't think it would be, but Gaia is getting addicting.  I haven't decided on a look, yet, so I'm just saving my pennies, for some nice stuff.  Any tips?  I didn't read all 19 pages of this thread, so if there's a whole "helpful hint and tip" section, let me know

There aren't any side quests now but when they come up do them.  Usually all you have to do is watch a movie preview and they give you a free item.  You can do them up to 3 times so you can sell 2 and keep 1 (that's usually what I do).  Remember to also click on the Daily Luck thing everyday.  It's that red cart at the top of the screen.  If you get any starter items like a flame t shirt or a headband or something you can sell that in the market place as well for a few gold.  Ink sells pretty good too depending on the color.

Also you can go around gaia towns and pick up flowers and run into trees and catch bugs.  Plays games are fun too but they can sometimes take forever to give you any real amount of gold.  I think I've found my best luck in the market place.

On tektek.org there is a list of the active quests, you can always check over there to see if there are any you can do now to get some items to sell.

Has anyone else joined the Pets and Animals Guild?  I swear I've put the link for goosemoose into every thread I've seen about rats, because these people have some serious misconceptions about rats.

Whoa, whoa whoa! Am I the ONLY person on here who can't get into Gaia?! For days, I've been trying to get on there, all it has is the login from, and this one little thing that says 'shop'. If I login into Gaia, I can't do ANYTHING, can't read messages, go in the market, there's like nothing there!! I are confuzzled...

Maybe.. Everything started messing up a day after the announcement for the new 'My Gaia' design was sent..

Gaia's finally working for me, started working a couple days ago, I'm online there right now...

i get on gaia too, i have been ever since i was in the 10th grade in 04, but im always poor on there.  im very loose with my gold XD  but im a horder and hardly ever sell my old items.  it took me a few years to finally sell my kitsune mask.  i have the same username on gaia as i do on here

Thanks! Got it and accepted it. I've been hanging out on the forums there, and I agree, Dearpie, its not always pg-13. I am amazed at how many teenagers there are on there. I'm yet to meet anyone that is even near my age (26) Mostly I feel like a grumpy old woman when I go on there. I love wordbump..though my true addicted is jigsaw...
