Abella's eyes frittered shut, and a tear escaped them. "The pain.....It was so much....and his power..." Abella shook her head, "It was unbelievable. I couldn't even read his thoughts...It actually hurt...Not being able to hear it....not being able to be stronger...." Another tear escaped.

Franky wiped them away and then gently pressed his lips to hers, hoping he could help make her feel better. He pulled back after a few moments,"Abella, don't worry about him, he's dead." He gently touched her face with his hand,"You're ok now, yes?"

Abella leaned in, and hugged him. She whispered in his ear, "A kiss doesn't make everything better." Abella just hugged him, tears going down her face. "Sometimes we need to figure things out the hard way." she kept hugging him. "The right way."  She leaned back from hugging him, and kissed him, "I love you," she whispered, her hands on his shoulders. She hugged him again.

He nodded and didn't say anything else. He made sure his arms were wrapped around her tightly and then he was finally able to relax in his mind. He knew Abella was alive, and that was all that mattered.

He nodded, but restrained from saying anything. For a brief second, he regretted not trusting her, but it didn't seem to really matter, so he just let it slip out of his mind. He had been terrified that she had been badly hurt, but now it didn't matter. Nothing bad mattered in that moment, and he made sure that his mind stayed that way.

(She forgot for a second that she had left Ev back at the one building so she could go help Abella.)

He nodded as his fingers ran through her hair,"I know." He exhaled slowly and shakily as he thought about what she must've gone through. It was painful to think about, but even more painful to have gone through.

Ki-Lang was slightly startled to hear the voice,"Oh.... Um, who's your mother?"

Franky nodded and then smiled,"Yes, yes you are." He played around with her fingers a bit as he thought. His thoughts were about nothing inparticular, but being with Abella made it oddly easier for him to think.

Franky easily trailed behind Abella, his hand still locked in hers. He really didn't care where she would take him, but a change in scenary was definitely a good idea.
