If yu dnt already kno, my cats name is Jasmine. Shes about 11 or 12 years old, and just this last year she has been puking up her food that she eats all over the house, sometimes in the bathroom, sometimes on the couch and on my bed.  Nastyy!! But sometimes she leaves poop stains on places she sits and has diarrhea sometimes. It used to be out of control and every single day sometimes more than once a day, but now its only a few times every couple weeks. But is this just part of old age, or is it something we should be worried about? Maybe take her to the vet??

11 or 12 is not that old for a cat...if she's having these issues, yes, definitely take her to the vet ASAP.

The older of my two cats pukes everywhere...and also sometimes gets runny stools...that smell to high heaven I might add...actually kind of smells like dead animal.

We have been trying quite a bit through the vet and have him a little under control...which means he only pukes 5-6 times/week.   WE finally had to resort to the steroids and that has helped some after two injections.  I think it is time for another though as the vomiting is increasing in frequency.

The advice I give is to get him to a vet, look at his diet, could be hairballs, irritable bowel disease (our case), etc.....but stick with it and keep trying things until you find what works for your cat if indeed it is IBD.

You should definitely take her to the vet and tell them everything that's going on.  I don't think cat's get diarrhea from hairballs.

If you have reduced the amount your cat is eating, he may be hungrier for a bit. Thus, when he sees food, he is likely eating it very fast and gorging himself. My cat does that. What we were told is to to put a golf ball in the food dish with her food. The golf ball stops them for being able to gobble the food so fast and this less likely to regurgitate.
