I don't know if I am going to get the opportunity to dress up or not, but if I do I want to think of a costume that will utilize my huge belly. If I am going to waddle around all night looking like I swallowed a beach ball I might as well get some use out of it. Any ideas?
I can only think of offensive costumes. Pregnant nun, Virgin Mary, Brittney Spears...
I'm sure if you search pregnant halloween costumes, you can find something.

You could be a lightbulb! Or you could be "mother earth" and make your belly a globe.

I used to have a witch outfit and a clown suit but they somehow got left behind last time I moved. Since then all I have left is my Doctor disguise. I usually wear a lab coat with a stethescope around my neck. This year I'm adding to the look by handing out the candy in a bed pan! (But I guess that would make me a nurses aide, not a doctor!

I'm invited to a Halloween party, and I have NO clue what to dress up as! Honestly, I'm not really feeling it this year, so that probably has a lot to do with it.
What are you guys dressing up as? Maybe I can glean a few ideas or inspiration.
How about a kitty, NutKitty?

How about wearing a snug orange top, with a pumpkin face on the belly part?

Everyone knows my theme.
Two years ago we went as Slave Leia and an X-Wing pilot.
Last year I had an emergency appendectomy 2 days before Halloween and all the parties.
This year I will be
Aayla Secura
and jpk will be Boba Fett. (I assume I don't need to post a pic of Boba Fett
) The costumes are being custom made, and should hopefully look quite authentic!
This is why I started a thread a couple months ago asking about experiences with body paint.
I just ordered various shades of blue, and hopefully one of them will be a good match for my costume.

I want to see pictures!!
I won't be dressing up this year, since I don't have anything to dress up for... No parties, and the in-laws stopped giving out candy a few years back, which is why I always used to dress up. We don't have enough kids in our neighborhood to justify buying candy (which I WILL eat if it's in the house) and dressing up. I think there was 1 group going around last year that had 6 or 7 kids in it, and that was it! So, we'll pretend to not be home.
I do wish I had a reason to dress up, though... *sigh*

I am going as Link, from Zelda.
I still need to make my green sock hat, resize a cream turtleneck, and get a sword/shield/elf ears.
Right now I've spent about $20 on it (thank goodness for my thrifting addiction) and I hope to come in under $30

I had a friend who dressed up as Link a couple of years ago. He looked really cute!
I can't find any pictures of him where you can see his whole costume, but here's a group shot. He's in the lower left corner.

Nope not dressing up most likely. Just handing out candy with a rat or two on my shoulders (I got another hairless girl yesterday, so she should be good for Halloween).

A friend of mine who's pregnant is going as Sarah Palin's daughter, which I thought was a bit tacky...stick to making fun of the candidate, not the children she's clearly doing such a great job of raising...
I'm not dressing up this year, my daughter is going to be at her dad's and I live in BFE so it's not like I'll get trick or treaters. My routine costumes in the past were RHPS's Magenta and Cavewoman...I have the perfect hair for both...

Have you seen Super Troopers? It's from the scene where they're "testing" the cups. It's tinfoil on some kind of jock strap thingy.
Yeah, that guy's a little weird...

I'm a college professor, but people always say to me that I don't look like a college professor. So, this year for Halloween, I am going to my classes dressed as...a college professor! I'm looking for a tweed jacket with leather elbow patches. If anyone else has any ideas, I'd love to hear them!

I'm also going as Luna Lovegood! I just found out that my internship is having a Halloween Party one of the days we're there, and everyone gets to dress up. That means multiple opportunities to dress up if I go to a party as well.
I have a hard act to follow. Last year I won runner up for best costume dressed as Carrie, and the year before I was the hit of another party as Napoleon Dynamite. I hope my Luna is as well received.

I thought that looked familiar! That is the best costume ever...lol
I'm not dressing up. Every year I go to my mom's big blowout party that she has. She lives on a parade route, so she always makes a lot of food and people usually just show up. I used to dress up but I swear it's always the coldest day of the year.

Oooh! I love the female link idea! I made a Link costume for my boyfriend years ago... he even won a costume contest.
And @#%@#$@#$@#!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I keep looking for Halloween costumes from sites/stores, but EVERY SINGLE FEMALE COSTUME looks like it belongs in a lingerie shop!
I'm sorry, but I don't want to go as a whore for Halloween.
