Title: Help my boyfriend wants to name our new puppy Dr. Zoidberg (now with more pics) Post by: Serenity on May 10, 2008, 12:28:25 AM Well my boyfriend watches a lot of cartoons. And we may be getting a new puppy. And my boyfriend is adamant that we call him Dr. Zoidberg. :confused1:
I personally think it's a terrible name. Especially if he runs off or something. I don't want to be running around the neighborhood calling for Dr. Zoidberg. I mean seriously. But I know once we get the puppy he'll refuse to call it anything else. What am I going to do? We both agree on how we will take care of it ie. feeding, excercise, training schedule, potty training etc. I figure those are the important things.

He's only had one accident and that was my fault anyways not his. He's going to be VERY smart. I can tell already. They said momma was a pure bred sheltie and dad looked like a sheltie mix.

When my son got his first dog he named him PopperCannon. Of course he was five at the time. I tried to persuade him to keep his shelter name which was Garrett. Anyways, PopperCannon is almost ten now. His name fits him now. He is a basset mix.

The vet thinks he's more like 6 weeks old. He goes back in for his follow up shots in a couple weeks.

I had a similar situation when I was married. I wanted a basset and my husband said ONLY if its a boy and we can name him Donk. Donk...oye. Well... i went with it and I called him Donkey and it totally fit because he moved just like Donkey on Shrek! Anyways, he is just to cute for words! |
