Actually the feisty ferret cage is the cage I ended up getting XD. Its bigger than the Rat Manor by quite a bit. Petsmart didn't have the SP exotics, so I went with the Feisty Ferret, which is a bit taller.
Alright, Smille.....if you want to send me a message with the specifications (what size you want the flag, most importantly) I will go do the fabric store and figure out how much it would cost to make. The original flag is only about 10" x 10". I would also want to look into buying nylon, which would be better suited for the outdoors, than cotton, which I used for my flag. I intend on adding grommets to the flag as well!
The regatta was great fun, and get this, I actally got second place in the small craft race! Maybe my poor old boat has some luck now that it has a name and a proper flag. I was doing so well that I didn't even disqualify myself, though I did run into a buoy and my flag got lots of laughs and the occasional bit of admiration.
Still working on the design in an attempt to get those crossbones smaller.....I'll let y'all know if I figure it out!
Ohh that gave me goosebumps. The poor little puppy. I think she'll know if it's the pup's time to go. That is so sad. It doesn't help that chihuahuas can have such big moleras.
Or if you want the absolute antichrist in regards of cute little sites like those: http://whatjeffkilled.com/
My dad showed that to me. Bleargh.
i just checked out that site....its quite...disgusting...i dont see how people find it amusing to take pictures of animals their pets have killed...ewww
My first rat had chronic respiratory disease that was very severe. Radiographs of his lungs showed almost complete opacity on one side. He was on baytril/doxy for a long time, eventually it stopped working. I went to several vets for second, third, sixth opinions... eventually I went to a vet who put him on Prednisone and Theophylline. I also tried a few albuterol treatments with the nebulizer I bought. He did very well for a few months longer with this treatment. He also was given baby foods and other tasty foods to try to keep his weight up since he was wasting. Eventually I had to euthanize him when he started gasping and oxygen treatments weren't even enough to help anymore. But I believe the pred and theophylline did a lot to help him. Pred acts as an anti-inflammatory and theophylline as a broncho-dilator. It just makes breathing easier, reliving the stress on the body from struggling to breathe.. so basically it could help keep him comfortable even if there's not anything to cure the disease.
