We did home made gifts last year. I made and painted a gazillion gingerbread cookies and made some flavored liqueurs for people. There were also a few scarves, pet beds, and of course the companion cube tissue box cover I made for a friend.

This year my dad's office is closing and they're getting rid of a whole lot of really great wine. Hubby and I are snapping up several cases, so most of our friends will be getting a couple of really nice bottles of wine this year. Free to us. Even better than buying materials for hand made gifts.

Sure ya don't want to give one up, Runz?
Maybe they stopped making it. It seems like it's out of stock everywhere  Blue Dumbo Big Eyes My poor ratties will have to go without for a while... Actually I doubt they really care, I just think they're so cute lol. I was thinking about the octo-play or the ele-fun, but they're SO expensive! Maybe for their birthday  Blue Dumbo Smile

I love you a lot bit?  Does it help that I got it on super clearance since my local, wonderful shop is changing owners to a wonderful guy (I'm really happy about the change of ownership)?

It would probably actually help if you knew the sewing machine I bought for 150 a year ago is now not even worth pennies for scrap.  I wish I hadn't bothered buying used, it wasn't worth it.  At least I have a warranty from anything like that happening again for a long time.

(just wanted to say that I was interested in it, but I just spent a bunch of money fixing up an old FN so I figured I shouldn't spend any more for a while Sad . I think the set is absolutely adorable, and you did a very nice job arumberg!  Blue Dumbo Smile )

It has a link and says it's now available at Petsmart.com but I cant find it on their site .... it will be interesting to see how much they sell it for. It would be nice if I could use that $50 gift card that's been sitting in my wallet!

I can see the cause of GGRM! It would be cool to have some for playing, some for shoulder riding, and some for cuddling! I'm afraid I only have the quality time for two. But I'll just enjoy their rambuctious period (however long it lasts), I've got years of rattie love ahead!

Cute boys. I love smeezers. They are my favorite marked variety of ratkid. All rats are different nad some calm sooner and others never do Smiley My oldest boy, Urn, who just happens to be a siamese seal point dumbo will be two soon and he has just now decided he likes to cuddle and sit with me rather than run off. I have a younger boy, Sal (also a seal point siamese), who is just about 8 months and he is all kinds of cuddly. It really depends on the rat.
