I don't see how these dogs could all be 100% match for me. Quite honestly i don't think i'd ever own any of these breeds. Well i would consider a Standard Eskie or a Setter or the Springer Spaniel but honestly they are never in my local shelters so they aren't the breeds i'd be choosing from. I was quite surprised that the test didn't ask about children although most dogs and kids can adjust to each other i personally wouldn't recomend a herder for a family with small kids  Undecided .

oh page 2 had a Keeshond @ 99% i could see myself with a Keeshond. Page 3 Husky @ 99% and Akita @ 98% both i grew up with and would consider again.

Ok it's my fault i didn't answer specific enough, i went about 6 pages into my search and they were still at 98% match. I'm just to easy to please. Afro

Staffordshire Terrier is close, though! For most people, there's no difference.  Smiley Dogbreedinfo.com: 'The American Staffordshire Terrier, are generally of larger bone structure, head size and weight then their cousins the American Pit Bull Terrier.'

Not bad, I got several breeds I've seriously researched and considered. Didn't pick a size so got a good range there.

Some highlights:
Akita (97%) - my boy August is an Akita mix, he is a fantastic dog and I love his temperament. Don't know if I'll ever be without an Akita or a mix, they are great dogs (but not for everyone).
Shiba Inu (98), and Chow Chow (97) are close matches and if size was ever an issue, I would have one of these.
Great Pyrenees (99), Irish Wolfhound (99), Borzoi (98), Saluki (97), Chesapeake Bay Retriever (97), and Bernese Mountain Dog (96) are all breeds I really admire and wouldn't mind if one came into my life someday.

A few years ago-- before August, actually-- my ideal dog was a bit different with Poodles and Papillons at the top of the list. I still like them a lot (hopefully next dog will be a Standard Poodle), but they've been bumped down from "the perfect match". *g*
