due to personal reasons i'd rather not go into, i have to rehome my two danes.
fae is two years old, cropped ears, black with white markings. she is very very sweet and people orientated. she is very lean and athletic, loves to run and play fetch. good with kids and other dogs (loves to play with the little dogs!) she will chase cats, wanting to play. she's never met a cat that would stand up to her, though, and i'm sure would immediately back off if she did. in the house she is extremely mellow. absolutely loves to sit in your lap or lean. she's also good at following you every where you go. she is kennel trained, walks well on a leash, house trained (although she is an opportunist!), and spayed. fae is pretty close to the perfect dog.
killian is one year old, natural ears, solid (well ok, a couple of hairs on his chest) black. he is a gigantic goofy puppy! so sweet and kinda.....retarded! ok, not really but he sure can act like it! killian thinks he's part kangaroo and will bounce straight up and down (but never on you) at dinner time. he loves to cuddle and gives the very bestest hugs. i cannot begin to explain how much i adore this dog, you have to meet him to appriciate his personality! he gets along with other dogs, and, like fae, will chase cats if they don't show him who's boss. he has been around children, but is still very much a puppy and very clumsy, so probibly shouldn't go to a home with small kids. killian is 18 months old, 36" at the shoulder, and still growing (danes grow up until about two and fill out until about three) i don't know why, but killian is terrified of the crate. he is house trained, an opportunist (and he can reach the very back of the counters without even stretching!) he loves to go for walks, but is still learning that he can't go play with everyone we pass. he is very mellow, and would rather curl up in "his chair" than play. he always know where you are, and is seldom far away. most of our evenings are spent on the couch, me knitting with him laying next to me, head in my lap. i'm crying already.... parting with him is going to kill me.
both dogs are fixed and current on their shots. there is an application, adoption fee, and contract. if you are interested, please email me at dragyn_flye @ yahoo. com. i will only let these two go to homes i feel are perfect.
