They came and checked out the house this morning and at about 1 I got my foster.. He's a 2 year old cream/apricot Poodle Lol I know.. he's a sweetie he is.. lol I'll try to get a picture soon! He's probably going to go fast lol. But still its nice having something to keep my feet warm while i sleep Cheesy

Have fun while it lasts.  I really enjoy fostering puppies and dogs.  The hardest part is of course, letting go.  However there is usually another one waiting for you!

While the hardest part, by far, is letting them go, for me, the second hardest was obeying all the fostering rules.  My group has a lot of very important rules that I find so hard!  Like not letting the dogs on the furniture because the new family may not want a dog on the furniture and its SO hard to teach them to not go on as opposed to staying off.  Just make sure you are careful about what they expect of you and do your part.  I had trouble finding time for learning new things (like stairs and training (I get greyhounds right off the track who have never been in a home before), but its vital to the dog's success in the new home.  The rules are always there for a reason and eventually make the act of fostering much easier.

this rescue doesnt have weird rules.. plus the only furnature i have is an air mattress.. and he's been sleeping on it all day lol

I really want to foster, but I just know I would get attached and end up with 30 dogs.

I really dont think im ready for this kid either.. the dog is lazy and sleeps all day. except 6 in the morning. 6 in the morning he wants to get up and play and jump and  Shocked 2

i was leaving my door to my patio /balcony open.. until i noticed he was Jumping. and that would be great when he got ahold of it and jumped off >.< this dog can jummp like 5 feet in the air!

Well last night they came to pick him up for an adoption event today.. and Guess what.. Him and 10 other dogs got adopted! I'm glad he got adopted Cheesy
