Found the camera today,and realized I haven't posted any pics of Carlin,my lab-mix pup. (Well,he's not much of a puppy anymore,he's getting pretty big now,actually) Well,here he is!  Outside ->

He dropped his basketball in the pool.. 

And he's still trying to get it 

Then he wanted to come inside. 



Later,we sat on the couch-bed.

Oh....he's gorgeous.  I love the "rusting" coming through the black.  And that pic where he's running and he has that great puppy smile...swoon.  What a gorgeous boy!!

Thanks! Since he's a mixed breed,we're not entirely sure what he is. Well,he definitely has a lot of black lab in him,we think he may be part pit-bull too.

Here's a pic of him,shortly after we first got him. He was so tiny back then! And I could actually pick him up! (He must weigh about 40 pounds now..)

Thanks!  His name means 'little champion" . When we were first going to get him,I couldn't decide whether to name him Elkie,or Carlin.  (Rattietayls, Sabrina is so cute!)

To me, Carlin looks part terrier. I have a thing for terriers

Terrier? Hmm..well,maybe.Our vet didn't even really know what breed he was. She said he was black and choclate lab,with a bit of either pit bull or pug.

I've seen boxer/lab mixes with that coat coloring. It's due to brindling from the boxer.. he's not a black and chocolate lab, lol. He could very well have some pit in him as well but that coat is definately partly brindle. Cute dog.

He does have a nice dog smile!  He's winked a couple times at me,lol. It seems like he's always grinning at me.
