Awhile ago, I got to thinking. I want to take a HUGE poll on various rattie forums.
On age, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, relationship status (Single, married, in relationship.), where you live (Apartment, house, etc.), whether you live alone, with a partner or parent.
Because it's interesting to see the variety. I notice there are a lot of married people with rats.
And I think it's cool that a lot of times, both people have specific rats.
I also know A LOT of the gay community that own rats.
And the age range is so crazy!

Sorry to hi-jack! It just seems interesting to me. But I love statistics and such.

Nationality: Born in Brighton, Sussex (Irish parents), moved to the USA with parents, educated largely in the UK and USA, carry American passport, live in Norway (white n nerdy, though you didn't ask)...

Orientation: Er, I don't know.  I suppose, right now I consider myself hetero, since I married a guy, but I had a serious girlfriend for a while before we met, my ex fiance was experimentally transgendered.  Non-preferential, I guess.  My theory has always been, a soulmate is a soulmate, no matter what kind of package they come in.

Status: Married

Live in: A nice 2 bedroom that we own, and rebuilt after a fire.  Also on this property is another house that we sorta live in too. It's a long story, but we'd be renting it out if we could afford to fix it to the very strict rental codes of this town.  Our housemate practically lives there, but sleeps in this house, so we don't attract any unwanted attention from the code enforcer...
