Our new puppy Chase

On April 1 of this year, our dog, Tacoma was hit by a car after his leash broke while my husband was walking him. He lunged at another dog across the street and it was over immediately. Even though my husband rushed him to the vet's where I work and 3 doctors worked on Tacoma, I already knew it was over...our baby was gone, and so fast. We truly, truly miss him and I still cry for him. We vowed never to get another dog as Tacoma was so special and sweet. We found that the house was so quiet so we broke down and got a puppy.

His name is Chase and he is absolutley adorable...such a sweetie but very hard-headed! He will be taking puppy classes. His father is Tacoma's brother so we do have a little piece of our first baby. He's a Doberman/Lab and he's very smart but very, very naughty - here are some cute pictures...enjoy!!!

Congrats on the new puppy! It is so hard to have a dogless house, I'm sure Tacoma is thrilled you have a new little troublemaker to keep your house full of doggyness. He is a cutie.

I can't imagine life without a canine friend. I'm sure Tacoma approves of you taking in a puppy to raise and love.

Chase is an absolutely adorable baby. Congratulation on your new furbaby.

Chase is soo cute Heart

Definitely an angel- I don't believe you that he's a troublemaker Wink

I'm so sorry for your loss of Tacoma though.

Chase has to have specialized classes as he's SO dominant and has biting issues (he also chases the cats), but he's been doing much better. He's dog shy as well so we've been socializing him a lot. Look how much he's grown in a month! The vet said he would be at least 100 pounds. Right now he's on medicated shampoo for his puppy pioderma (itchy zits) and an ear infection, other than that he's very healthy and growing like a weed. He is a very high maintenance puppy and he's out for walks for almost 4 hours a day...but still he's coming along and starting to learn some manners, lol!
