Anyone besides me going to the midnight showing? I called the theater and they said that people are already lined up! We plan to show up at eight...we were originally planning ten but we have about 10 people in our group, so we want to make sure we all get to sit together.

I'm dying to see this, but I can't really swing a midnight showing. I already have stupid dinner plans tomorrow, and a stupid party to go to Sat <insert bitter grumbling here> so this will have to wait for Sunday or Monday. I've been positively turning myself inside out for this sequel since it was hinted it at the end of the first movie.

yep i went to a chicago mid night showing. I got my tickets last week lol 6 theaters were sold out. I got there at 10 and had first pick of seats in my theater
I really loved seeing chicago in the movie
Now i can always say " i live in Gathem city" and i live 10 min from waukegan where
batman begins took place.
I went the bathroom before i got in but of course 30min in the movie i had to pee soo bad so i had to hold it for another 2 hours because i was not leaving that movie
I loved the movie
but i was also kinda sad because i saw the joker and every time i looked i took off the make up and saw heath ledger but he did a great job. well worth the wait

Hubby wants to see it as soon as we're able to coordinate it. We usually try to do it during the day, as crowds are less, and you can enjoy the movie with fewer idiot people around.

We're going to a 3:30 matinee today. I had my wisdom teeth out this morning, so this will be a "therapeutic" movie to take my mind off of it.

I went to the 12:30am showing. I usually not go to midnight shows, especially when the movie is this long, but I couldn't wait. I got the tickets online at the last minute. Most of them were already sold out, but I managed to get into the 12:30 one. The theater is an hour from my house so I didn't get home until 4:30am. However, everyone in the theater loved the movie and clapped at the end and a few times during.

I went to the midnight showing. I loved it. But it was very dark. I wouldn't recommend bringing children to the movie unless you've seen it first.
A Batman movie NOT made for children ----there is something very wrong about that.

It was brilliant. We arrived at 9:30 and the line was almost out the door. Fortunately Were allowed to choose any theater that said dark knight..and there were nine of them. We brough pizza and ate it as we waited in line. My ex from 3 years ago was there, talk about awkward, especially when you make eye contact and say nothing. I enjoyed the night (or knight) anyways.

I def. agree this is not for kids. I am nearly 20 years old and had a nightmare about the Joker last night. The role was played so brilliantly that it was scary. Heath Ledger really outdid himself on this film, it's a pity he can't enjoy all the glory today. Such a damn pity.

I saw it last night, at 10:30.
I loved it. I wish there was a stronger word, but I can't think of one. I loved ittttt!!! More t's maybe will make it more effective. ;P
It did make me so sad that Heath was gone, because there are people saying he doesn't deserve all the praise, it's only because he's dead, etc. etc. but he completely does. And if he was here this would be the start of something huge for him.
It was better than the first, which I didn't think was possible.

As a projectionist, I see a LOT of movies. And I have to say that this is one of my all time favorites. Ever. It is drawing the crowds in like I've never seen! Of course, it's created a TON more work for me, building a lot of prints and interlocking projectors with one print, but hey, it's worth it!
GO SEE THIS MOVIE!

I saw it yesterday and it was really really good. I think I would have enjoyed it more if my grandmother hadn't been sitting next to me complaining the entire time how much she hated it.

I saw this yesterday and I loved it. I really think that Heath Ledger made the movie as the joker. That part where he walks into the room and all you see is his back gave me goosebumps. I grew up being afraid of the joker and I'm surprised I didn't have nightmares last night. When I was growing up I had nightmares every night that the Joker was chasing me, and I have only seen the original batman once...

I saw it tonight. I liked it but it is very dark and kind of depressing. It wouldnt be depressing if Heath Ledger hadn't died but I spent the entire movie thinking how sad it is that hes gone. I wish he was here to enjoy all the praise the movie is getting.
