Well, long story short, I have been looking for a puppy, considering and planning for, well, going on a year now. Recently, I was supposed to be adopting a puppy from an oops litter of a relative, but before I could meet the puppies, or adopt they had move away with the dogs, and didn't tell anyone where they were going. After that, I waited a couple weeks, and eventually I found another mixed breed puppy, but she was located a fair distance from my house. at first the woman told me she was going to "sell the pup for 200$" to someone else, after telling me for a few days that I could take her. Eventually she changed her mind, and everything was set, and then, last minute my transport fell through. I was so upset that I almost considered not getting a dog at all, because I couldn't go through all the expectation and excitement, only to be disappointed. However, the same day we found an oops litter about 5 minutes from my house! There was never any dogs looking for homes around here(Where I live you breed your poodle with anything and sell it for 2000 dollars mostly, or your dog gets pregnant by who knows what and you demand 600$ for the rare crossbreed), so I called and decided to check the pups out, but nothing serious.
HOLY CUTE.
There were 10 pups in all there, and I ended up falling for a little female, one of the two runts, and taking her home with me. The situation wasn't great....The pups were so dirty and smelly and they had fleas and worms, and were only 6 weeks old. The woman "wanted them gone" before friday, because she was going to ontario. The mother was 2 years old and it was her second litter.
That being said, Sage is perfect. She is healthy, and playful, and has the sweetest, softest disposition. She got bathed immediately, wrapped in a fluffy towel and cuddled to sleep. She didn't even cry really for her mom and siblings at all, she was up for a new challenge. She is so sweet, and it is so hard not to spoil her. She is silly and in the mornings she cries until I let her run around in the bathtub while I shower(she is a bit of a water dog) and she stumbles on her too long legs when she runs too fast and trips on her too big feet, and has just learned that there is something attached to her bum that wiggles around begging to be bitten, and she would really like to chase it.
SAGE:

(blurry...still cute)
