   More proof that I have awesome management and that all produce store jobs are not sent directly from the bowels of Hell.
  I stayed up late with the rats last night (went to bed long about 5:30 this morning). Around 1:45 this afternoon, my cell phone rings and wakes me up.

  "Hello?"
  "Joe?"
  "Yeah."
  "This is Lauren. Were are you? You were suppose to be at work at 1:00."
  "Crap! I'll be there in fifteen minutes."

  So no shower (ick), work clothes I'd already worn twice (double ick), deoderant, brushed my teeth, combed my hair, and left for work. Got there right at 2:00.
  One of my supervisors changed my work hours for the day from 1-5 to 2-6. He then proceeded to tease me about it for the duration of my shift.
  So I chasiered for two hours, and only checked about twenty people. Then I bagged for two hours, and only bagged for about fifteen. Because we never got the rush (I was told it came at 7:00), what I like to refer to as the "after school crew" (the group of high school/college age people I prefer working with) hung around and had a merry ol' time.
  I love my job.

*BANG*  Nice.  If I'm late for my job the world better have ended! ::)

I can't be late for my job. At least not for a while.  ;D

   Well, I found out from talking to other people, that it happens all the time.  ;D One of the girls said she usually works 8am-2pm on Saturdays, and always get a phone call long about 8:10 to remind her she's suppose to be working (to which she jumps out of bed and gets there at 9:00). And they don't care. I love my job.

I'd probably be slowly tortured until I died a horrible deat if I was late.
