if your rat is lonely then i think she will really appreciate a friend; just make sure you go about the introductions right. also i agree about getting one from a shelter

kitten/puppy shampoo, ferret shampoo (?) and baby shampoo are what I would use, but do they really need to be bathed?

I would only use dishwashing soap if I had a boy with some serious buck grease problem but not for a regular bath, as its hard on the fur and skin.

Thanks guys. I'll give him a day or two before calling my vet. His new mommy was going to make him an appointment with her vet when I give the ratties to her Sunday for early next week...would that be to late? He isn't acting sick, he is eating and generally being a brat  Cheeky

Has the sneezing slowed down at all?  Is it just sneeze after sneeze?  Watch for any changes in his health or behaviour then run him to the vet Smiley

I am going to be adopting a syrian hamster in a few weeks. I was wondering what sort of foods everyone recommends?

I had a hamster once, who got fed largely what the rats get. I am not sure if there is something better for hamsters out there.

According the story the squirrels had ‘GPS devices, bugging instruments and advanced cameras’ in their bodies

IN their bodies?? That sounds horrible!  Sad

Apparently it's not so way out after all...
