Brunswick Gardens by Anne Perry.  I recently got a library card, and my son and I go once a week or so.

75's are really huge, my father had one for his boa, but I think what the main problem with the aquariums is that it doesn't offer climbing for the rats. If you even do find a way to put in shelves to make more floor space, it would be very difficult for you to clean. Wire cage, like the Martin's and even FN, make cleaning not as much of a chore. If you put a topper on it then everyday, as you said you would clean it daily, you'd have to take off the topper and drape yourself into the aquarium to clean out everything then reassemble it...everyday.

As for food you can take a look at Suebee's Mix: http://www.ratsrule.com/diet.html
You can get most of it at the grocery store too.

When I wear makeup, I use Bare Escentuals.  I bought my original kit at Ulta, and then picked up a LOT of it on Ebay.  There are plenty of auctions selling unopened, new items.  It's also a great source for the various brushes.   It can be addicting!

Please understand first of all this is not something I am doing easily, these are my girls, my babies, I love them all dearly, but with reoccurring illness in two of my girls, I find myself wondering if they do not deserve more than I can provide. I can provide them all of the love and attention they need, but I find my failure lays in being able to provide vet care to all of my rats. All of my girls have been veted up until this point, but now one needs a tumor removed, and I cannot currently afford it. Because I cannot she must wait and suffer while I save the money to do this for her. This is the reason I am attempting to find a home for my other girls, they deserve what I do not feel I can provide. These girls will not go to just anyone, and they MUST go together in trios or pairs. They are bonded, and cannot be separated. I feel physically ill even typing this, the idea of finding my girls a new home frightens me. The depend on me, I feel like I am letting them down  Cry

If you take all seven girls, the cage is included at no charge

My girls up for adoption:

Louise. She is a himi I bought from petsmart before knowing better. She is in good health, and is quite the character. She seems to be dominate in the group, and likes to cuddle. I estimated her date of birth sometime in November of 2007. Must be adopted with the other seven girls, or with Thelma.

Thelma. A bit of a nipper, and quite a skittish girl. She is a rather large girl at around 350g, and has quite the belly. DOB: November 2007. Must be adopted with the other seven girls, or with Louise.

Luna. She has never truly learned to trust me, but has learned to come to the front of the cage for treats when the door opens. She squeaks when being picked up, and likes to be left alone. Estimated DOB: April 2008 Must be adopted with the other seven girls, or with Diva.

Diva. Diva is a sweet girl, who loves to cuddle. She is addicted to her wheel, and can often be found sleeping in it. Diva is a constant sneezer. She has been on meds three times, and it has not cleared up. Please make note of this.  Estimated DOB: April 2008 Must be adopted with the other seven girls, or with Luna.

Snow White. My dumbo eared baby. A bit of a scardy cat, and a screamer. She has a pair of lungs on her when you attempt to pick her up as well. Estimated DOB: April 2008 Must be adopted with the other seven girls, or with Aurora and Cinderella.

Aurora. She often tends to sleep by herself and be a bit of a loner. She is not snuggly or mean, she is rather indifferent to me. Estimated DOB: April 2008. Must be adopted with Snow White and Cinderella, or the other seven girls.

Cinderella. Another girl who is pretty indifferent to me, and another dumbo eared girl. Estimated DOB: April 2008. Must be adopted with Aurora, and Snow White or with the other seven girls.

To make this transition easier for my girls I am included their cage and most of their toys if you adopt all seven, but some will be kept for my girls I am keeping (my girls who require continued vet care). They have a Martins F-470, pictured below:

As well as this carrying cage:

I do not even know what to ask as an adoption fee, my girls mean more to me than money. I just need to know they are going to a good home, someone who will love them the way I do, but can provide more for them than I can  Cry

I am located in Eldersburg, MD

I will drive up to 30 miles from Eldersburg to find a home for my girls.

A 75 gallon is pretty huge -- but it'll also be a HUGE pain in the butt to clean.  They are heavy, bulky, hard to clean out... all around just yuck in the long run. Smiley

Getting even a smaller (appropriately though of course) sized wire cage will be much easier on you for cleaning and moving around, and nicer for the rats in the long run.

The fact that you can't have wire flooring because it will cause bumblefoot is a myth.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with appropriately sized wire flooring (such as the 1/2" x 1/2" Martins uses).  Bumblefoot is more likely to be caused by a buildup of filth on any surface (and there are also other components no one is sure about like genetics, etc.).  A wire cage can be put in the tub and thoroughly cleaned once a week.  And of course you offer hammocks, boxes, etc. so they are not constantly on the wire.

Rabbit pellets are not an appropriate food to give a rat... rabbits are herbivores, whereas rats are omnivores.  Rats do have a caecum and can digest some plant fibres and practice some coprophagy but to a much much lesser extent than a rabbit.  Rabbit pellets aren't proper nutrition at all.  (I'm suprised if they ate them, actually.)
I would highly recommend getting the rats onto a good lab block as their staple diet.  You can supplement them daily with fruits/veggies/small amounts of treats, but if their staple diet is a lab block the you know they are getting the proper nutrition.  Like others have pointed out, Harlan is considered one of the best, but Mazuri is still an acceptable alternative if you cannot order online.

I reread a lot of books too. It's great, I crave them, it's very comforting.  I know when I pick up the book, what world I'm going to be whisked away to, and it's where I want to be, what I get in the mood for.

Case in point: I just reread the Dark Tower series, and loved every second of it, and after a brief break, I dove head first into the world of the Mayfair Witches, reading Anne Rice's The Witching Hour, and now I'm in the middle of Lasher.  It's exactly right, for October, just where I want to be.  I've got my whole winter outlined, because when I finish the third book in the series, Taltos, I'm going to read a few of her later ones, Merrick and Blackwood Farm, then start from the beginning with The Vampire Chronicles, and then on to the newer ones.  I'm excited, and it's all re-reading.
