Honestly, I have not heard good things about the Nuvaring.  It may work for some people, but all the friends I've known who were on it had to switch.

I'm one of the lucky few. Smiley I've been on the ring for almost 2 years and I love it! I have a terrible memory and would forget to take the pill every day, definitely not good.

Looks like a she to me, and it looks like there might be 2 nipples visible in the pic.  They diffinitely wouldn't be visible if it was a boy.  Hope she enjoys being back with her sisters. Wink

Awesome! Just allow some extra time for making them! And possibly getting more fabric depending on the size. And please take pics of the cage so I know where to put the "tuck". And I will get the custom quote to you ASAP!

Honestly, I have not heard good things about the Nuvaring.  It may work for some people, but all the friends I've known who were on it had to switch. It was just making their hormones go crazy. I was on Ortho for a few months and I had THE WORST mood swings EVER.  My boyfriend was a very happy person after I got off of that...lol.

I have been on Yaz for over a year now and I really like it.  It has the antidepressants in it, so now Samantha is a VERY happy camper all the time. Smiley

I hope you find something that works for you.  Unfortunately, it's trial and error sometimes. Do you think you need a switch of dosages?

It's not deep at all.  It still is quite sore and red around it and my hand is swollen a bit but it isn't horrible.  Why do I need to watch for illness in the rat?...like he could get something from me??  What do I watch for?  My friend is the retired dog warden and she said they do not do a rabies quarantine in for rats.  So I don't have to worry about that.  He is in quarantine anyhow but still...no visit needed from the health department.

Just in case he got something from ingesting your blood, or if he becomes sick, that means you may have gotten something from him too, so if he gets sick you should see your doctor as well.
The chances are very slim that anything serious will happen, it's just a good precaution to take.
Just keep your hand clean, and i'm sure you will be fine!

Hehe.  I keep wanting to find Scarlett a Pink Poogle stuffed animal, which I normally see all over the place, but now, all I can find is the beanie baby one.  Besides it being one I wouldn't want her to tear to shreds, the beans inside wouldn't be too good for her if she gets it torn open... I mean, when.  XD

In the FF cage with my 3 big boys, I have given up using liners in the bottom. No matter what I use or how many binder clips I attach to them, they find ways to burrow underneath it and make a big ole' poopy mess underneath. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes So I am now using Yesterday's News in the whole bottom pan of my FF.

Good luck to you, hope you have more well-behaved ratties than I do. Tongue

Mine are burrowers too. Luckily they don't poop too much under the towels, but if they do, I just wipe it up with baby wipes. I spot clean 1-2 times a day, and usually have to pick up/wipe up poops whether they are above or below the towels.

I've found there's no point in clipping down the towels, the ratties will find a way under. So now I've given up and straighten the towels on a daily basis. I guess it's one of those things that comes with the rattie territory.  Roll Eyes

I vote for Samson! I have a gorgeous himilayan cat that is a big, squishy hunk of catman named Samson with WAY more personality than I have ever seen in a cat ! * runs off to find a pic*
