No, it loads ok. I can't see all the pics cos of my computer at work, but I can pic them up at home.

Maybe it's just loading a bit slower because of all the pics?

Hmmmm... maybe someone included a picture that is too big? Or maybe they stored it on a server that is really slow? One image can mess up a whole page sometimes...

Just a reminder to everyone -- try to keep file sizes under 50k. Not everyone has a high-speed connection.

How do I know how big my file size is?

You should be able to look at your file listing on your hard drive, and it should tell you. If you're using Windows (I'm on a Mac), you need to go into your Explorer and go to the folder where the image is stored.

I use Adobe Photoshop 5.5 to edit my photos (I'm a graphic designer -- we have cool toys!), so when I am using the wonderful "Save for Web" function, which optimizes the image for web display, it tells me how large my file will before I even generate it. Most of my web photos photos (3" x 5", 72 DPI) are around 30k.

I was probably one of the culprits with the file size too big. I went in and resized it and edited the message to point to the smaller file. Hope this helps.

Having a T3 at work and Cable access at home has really spoiled me!  Cool

I don't know... I wasn't having any problems when you originally posted it... but who knows. It could also be the sheer volume of images being posted in one thread. Smiley

That said, as soon as I saw this thread, I went to the other one, and I had no problems loading it at all.

(AUGH! Someone keeps trying to fax my phone number! BEEEP! BEEEP!)

I hate that too Suebee.
Fax spam is what it is. We get them at work all the time.

I don't get them often, just every once in a while... maybe once a year. Thing is, it's my home phone number, and I don't have a fax machine. We are planning on getting one, though, for my home business...

When I get a fax like that, I usually just say into the phone very loudly, "THIS IS NOT A FAX NUMBER!" and hang up. They only tried three times. They must have finally heard me...

I always get a lot of weird wrong numbers -- usually for government services (DMV) and businesses (Lenscrafters). Weirdness.

That's about 20k -- just fine. Wink

To get kilobytes (approxiately), take the bytes and divide by 1000. Wink

I just had a look at it using the Opera browser (it shows how much it's downloaded as it goes along) - that got up to 218k before it got stuck.
