 I have never met Ferrets before and these guys were just too cute!  they weren't really alot like rats but they were so goofy and did help take my mind off of missing my ratties

I think ferrets are so cute.  I just can't stand their smell.  I can handle almost any other animal smell, but I don't think I could ever own a ferret.

By the way, I think Nemo would understand as long as it's not another rat.

I heard they are very hard to take care of. And they are illegal anyway here in CA, so I won't be tempted to get one.
They are very cute!!! But c'mom! Nothing and nobody can beat Nemo's cuteness! I think we all agree on that one!

ah yes. ferrets. perpetual two year olds. play, get into trouble and sleep. maybe not in that order.

and they really are like wet noodles, bending every which way. and they really are such sound sleepers. it takes alot of paw tickling to get them to wake up. and then it's bounce bounce bounce, time to play again.

you just have to remember that when you come across an improperly trained ferret that they love to bite, and when they do, you have to scruff them to get them to let go.  pulling does not work. (ouchies)

Aw, I love ferrets. My dad used to have some.  They're like kittens who swallowed Slinkys and never grow up into cats! Those pics are adorable - especially the one of Ziggy "attacking"! Very cool pic!

LOL I had such a stupid moment. Saw the first picture and Im like "Well, that rat sure looks a lot like a ferret.." - whew. Don't tell anyone...

Ferrets are adorable critters. My ex had three, one of which was a little assassin. She'd sneak up on unsuspecting feet and slither in behind the couch between the cushions and nip any unsuspecting toe or rear-end available. 

I enjoyed living with them, but they were a handful.

Ultimately, I agree with Deb. As much as I love the little guys, I could never own one due to the smell.

Don't worry.. Nemo doesn't even know hehe, I had my clothes washed before he got home just incase they did smell ferittey.

I liked the Ferrets but I don't think I would get one.. I much prefer the ratties and agree with most of you about their odor. They had their own ferret smell even though they were clean (and descented) *takes deep sniff of rattie on lap* I prefer the way ratties smell

ahh how I miss my ferret... aren't they awesome though?   so much work.. such a handful.. so expensive!!  but yet so rewarding (if you like the extreme of both worlds.. a hyperactive happy pet and one that looks like it just died in the hammock)
