I finally got him!

After a month or so of waiting, I finally got my little ferret boy. Ok, he's not so little as a kit. But he's littler then me. lol. He's about two years old, and is a sorta butterscotch color. And he's such the sweetest thing. We got him from somebody who couldn't care for him anymore. He free-ranges around the house, litterbox trained... though we already learned that he likes to sleep hidden away in a box, which we were looking for him for about an hour. We named him Dominic.

I don't have a camera yet. But as soon as I get some pictures on a disc, then i'll post 'em.

lol, no digi camera so I have to wait until my roll of film is done.

We got Dominic a friend. A pretty little boy that my husband named Promethius. He's a butterscotch. He is such a crazy guy. favorite place to play was in the ashes of the fireplace. I don't know how he got in there, but we boarded it off... mostly. I've got them so many toys. it's crazy. the floor is scattered. Watching them wrestle together is so funny. they make the funniest noises. Oh, and they KNOW when they are doing something that they are not supposed to do. Like tipping over the dog's water, and going into the off limit's room. They do this little sneaky thing, check to see if your looking, if you are they take a couple of steps closer... to see if you'll do anything... if you don't do anything they'll either run into or up to the door or the the off limit room, or they'll quickly tip over the dog water. If you do something they'll DART so fast in the opposite direction, right between your feet, so you can't catch them.

Dom likes to beat up on the puppy i'm watching right now. They do play nice together, but he'll bite the pup on the underside and the pup will yelp, and then Dom will stand a bit to the side like he did nothing... go back and do it again a few minutes later. I know it's just surprising to the puppy, because it is sneak attacks. but it's all in play. I'm just glad that they all have think skin. lol.

Prom always comes to wake me up in the morning, nibbling my toes and licking my face. That is until I am sure I don't want to wake up and push him off the bed. but he always persists.

I swear, I owe this board like a million and a half pictures. soon, I promise, soon.
