i got my new cage today, and i love it! it was easy to put together, and is HUGE! the doors are so big, i was able to climb through the bottom one and sit inside the cage while i was hanging up hammies and improvising shelves. i don't so much like the way the levels and ramps are, but it won't be any problem at all for me to modify it to how i want it. tomorrow i'm going to lowe's to look at shelving, and hobby lobby to replenish my hammock making materials! i spent quite a bit of time watching them play and explore in it, and have been making lists of things i want to change/add/move, and as they settle in more over the next couple of days, i'm sure i'll think of more things to do with it.....
the whole shebang, with vash sitting outside looking on in awe!

the current, temporary shelve.... it's small but stable, gave me an extra spot to hang stuff, and makes me feel a little more safe for them.

and a couple of fuzzy yet adorable pics of my boys
knives sleeping soundly in the bottom of the new cage:

dang it mom, why'd ya wake me up?!

vash, my squishy fat man, weighs in at three and a half pounds at approximately five months old. not bad considering how tiny and malnurited he was when he came to me!
