Right now I have 3 ferrets. They are in a 4 story Super Pet cage. Their litter pan is in the bottom and with 3 ferrets using it sometimes there is an accident. It is very hard to clean up the bottom level when this happens and the only way to get the litter box out is to pick up the entire cage. That and it being a little dark loking inside are my only two complaints. I do not have trouble with the groves on the levels or the doors.

The ferret nation does look like a nice cage and i think it would be a lot easier to clean. But would there be enoug room for three ferrets? I was planning on getting the two level and NOT adding another level onto it. I will add several hammocks though.

So, what do you think?

No idea about ferrets, but FERRET NATION IS GOD! I love this cage. I have 6 boy rats in it.

Here is the SuperPet cage:

and this is the Ferret Nation:

The two story model 142 is the one I would get.

The Ferret Nation 142 is easily big enough for 3 ferts.  I think you would like this cage a LOT more than the superpet cage.  Just my opinion though.  I have owned the superpet cage - I hate them and will never, ever own another.  I don't think there was one part of that cage I liked.
The ferret nation cage is awesome.  The only issue we are having is our ferts are still in the litter box training stage... no matter what cage you have there will be accidents.  The levels slide right out, easy to clean.  Though the brats have learned to shoot their poo onto the back wall... again not the cages fault.
This cage is also super easy to hook hammocks to because underneath the levels are bars, so you can hook the hammocks to the actual levels.  Also, I love the fact that you can close up the second story using the ladder.  There is a hook for the ladder to slide into, and you have two seperate cages if needed.

i love my super pets cages for my ratties, but while i had my ferrets in one before i got their new cage, I HATED IT!!!!  the shelves were too narrow and didn't give them much room (and they were little at the time, couldn't imagine it now!) and i noticed they started to bow after just a few days under the ferrets' heavier weight.  also, the ramps (which are just fine with ratties) were too flimsy for me to be comfortable with.  so i shall never again use a super pets cage for ferrets.

my only qwam about the ferret nation is the doors..... they are HUGE!  when i was considering buying a ferret nation cage of my own, i was having lovely fantasies about the ease of cleaning and decorating with those gigantic doors.....  then suddenly i imagined those very same doors while trying to keep in a hord of fuzzies who wanted out.....  that's the only thing that stopped me....  but maybe it's not as bad as my imagination makes it out to be.... or maybe other people have polite and cooperative ferrets who stay put!

I love the Ferret Nation and I think the two level is a PERFECT size for three ferrets. Congratulations -- I think you will be quite pleased with it Smiley

I think you will LOVE LOVE Your ferret nation cage!!!  I have one for my rats and there is tons of room for them to play....and as for the super large doors....i didn't think i would like that but i love it becuz i almost crawl in the cage with the rats...and its the big doors that make the cleaning easier also.

Be careful, there have been reports of ferrets getting toes caught in the space between the bar for hanging the ramps, and the shelves.

However if you call Ferret Nation they send replacement shelves free.

The new ferret nations have improved shelf plastic for that.  We have two ferret nations and the newest doesn't have the gap.
