I've made the tough decision to help Sam cross the Bridge today.  I got him a week before Christmas last year with his friend, Sassy.  He had adrenal and an enlarged spleen when I got him.  We tried Melatonin implants and when those didn't work we tried Lupron, but he was just not happy.  Lately he had been going straight back to sleep when I got him out and had no interest in anything.

I don't know how the other ferrets are going to take it, but I know I feel like I've been hit by a bus.  I miss him so much and I just wish I could have done more.   Play on, Samboy.

I'm so sorry he's gone. You gave him a wonderful last year, though, and lots of love and care. *hugs*

Aww what a cutie!  I am sorry for the hard decision you had to make but as you know it was the right one!  He is playing hard now having a blast at the bridge.  Give your other crew big hugs and lots of smootches!
