I use Natural gold ferret food and Innova cat food for mine.

There are MANY MANY ferret food charts out there to compare the best to feed your ferrets..

Can anyone tell me if Zupreem Ferret Diet has a good reputation?

Zupreem is ok, but a lot of ferret owners have had problems with choking and their older ferrets not being able to eat it.

I feed mine lots of different fods which is what you should do.  Totally Ferret, Innova EVO, Felidae, Chicken Soup foods (kitten is best), Eukanuba (sp?) also has some decent ingredients.

Is Marshall Premium diet good? I bought my ferrets last year from a friend who was allergic to them. They were feeding them the marshall food, and I desided not to change them.

marshall's is baaaaaad...  nothin but fish and fillers!  it causes stinky ferrets with dingy, course coats.  it's the ole roy of ferret food.

i use a mix of feline evo, kitten chicken soup, totally ferret, and occasionally zupreem.  plus, they get their soupies every couple of days.

Maybe the charts should be updated, I was looking at my own food choice brands and all the charts (that DID include them) had different values... heh.  I mean, I chose what I use because it looked better than the totally ferret I used to use with my Spamzilla boy years ago.   Always use multiple brands, though.. mixed together.  That way if one's not available the ferret'll eat the other stuffs.

I heard something about how the cat food is still somewhat better than the ferret for innova evo.

they are the exact same product.  same ingredients, same percentages, everything.  when the ferret first came out, they were slightly different, now, they're not.  *shrug*  i know several ferret people who are in contact with the company about the huge price discrepancy between the feline and ferret.
