did you get her without their permission? it is always important to get everybody on board before you bring a new pet home.

Oh, no.  Did you have any say in the new owners?  I'm so sorry.

Im so sorry. I know how you feel, my parents gave one of my cats away a few years ago. He had intestinal problems from being attacked by a dog before we rescued him, and they gave him away because he 'smelled bad'. I did feel a little better because he went to a little girl with special needs.

Did they have any reason for giving him away?  Blue Dumbo Big Eyes

I'm very sorry for your loss my poor dear!
My parents gave away my dog who I loved and it broke my heart.  It happened almost 40 years ago and I still grieve for him.
I don't care what your parents reasons are - they broke a trust and I think it was wrong for them to do it.  If they had a problem with the ferret, for whatever reason, they should not have done something like that behind your back.

well the thing is that my brother that lives in TN has 3 ferrets and loves them so my dad said I think it's a bad Idea but if you want it that bad then do it So I said that I am going to get it and then I got it and I loved it but the thing is that my dad made me make it live in the garage because it smelled bad he said and then we moved and then he said well its to hot in the garage here for your ferret and you cannot keep the cage in the house and I will not allow the smell so you decide what to do with it so my dad found some one that works for him that said she would take her and I thought okay I mean it will have a better life and here she is not having a very good life because of my dad's rules and I mean who would let there daughter get a animal and then there daughter gets attached to it and loves it and then they do that to make me give her away and right now I know she is very happy because she has a sister and every thing. But that doesn't mean that I don't miss her. Thanks for you comferting words and I will keep you posted.

Well, I think if you're dad was dead set against having her in the house, you did the best possible thing.  She'll have a good life, even though it's sad for you.  (((hugs)))  Heart

I'm sorry to see that you are still grieving.  Are you old enough that you could maybe volunteer at a shelter or rescue?  Spending some time and sharing your love with those poor lonely creatures may give you some comfort.

What age are you? Eleven? It's really sad about what you father did, and it was wrong. I am sorry about this and what you are going through.. ((hugs))  Heart
