Rocky's Ferret Rescue (near Baltimore MD) is holding their annual Oktoberfest Party to benefit the shelter.
Saturday, October 6th starting at 2pm, with camping available on site with reservation.
It's always a party, with music, food, drinks, games, raffles and auctions for all sorts of stuff going on all day.
Our raffle has both people stuff and ferret stuff- bedding, food, cages, toys...
We have a Cakewalk to win delicious desserts and a Funky Hammock Contest to win prizes.
You can check out the shelter ferrets up for adoption and play with them in our outdoor playpens.
$5 gets you in the door and all the soft drinks you want.
All proceeds go to benefit the shelter.
This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY EVENT, bring the whole gang!
This is a very important fundraiser event for the shelter, and it's even more important this year due to the approx. 200 new ferrets arriving next weekend from a recently shut-down breeder farm in Ohio. They will all be on site, but not up for adoption or available for foster until their ADV test results come back. Donations of all kinds are gratefully accepted.
