So my girl Ari, for some reason decided to sleep in the food bowl today. None of them ever done that before and she's dwarf so she looked super cute all curled up in the food bowl.
Now, the food bowl is pretty much empty because I'm refusing to refill it until they eat at least some of the lab blocks I gave them 3 days ago (sometimes they go through a phase where they dont like lab blocks all of the sudden)
But anyway, since she was looking so adorable I was watching her....and she woke up, climbed out of the bowl and perched herself on the edge of it and started digging in there trying to find SOMETHING....She was really really concentrating on digging in it when my other girl walked up behind her and stepped on her tail....Ari JUMPED UP like a foot up in the air from being startled.....it was HILARIOUS! I laughed outloud(and almost choked, might I add, cuz i was eating at the time) and scared all the rest of the rats that where sleeping...they ALL kinda jumped up.....this, of course, made me laugh even more.
Man, I wish I had a camera. It was one of those 'had to see it' moments.
