Now, to fully enjoy this picture, you really need the backstory.

See, Barley is a really really really sweet beige rex.  He lives with an old guy named Shamus.  Now, Barley gets a bit.. Amorous towards Shamus, something made even funnier by the fact that Shamus tolerates it.  I'm sure in some way, it's dominance related, but that is not what it looks like.

Anyway, Barley was introduced to some younger blood today.

I didn't even realize it when I took the picture.  But boy did I laugh after.   Yellow Cute Laugh  (And, for what it matters, Barley hasn't tried... YET.)

haha, that's so funny.

I remember when I first moved in with my boyfriend and I brought my old man rats. My boyfriend's guinea pig was awfully amorous with them, as well.. and they just tolerated it also. Now that we have all young rats, the guinea pig doesn't bother trying, but it was quite a sight...
