My day started off with me waking up about an hour later than usual. I had switched my alarm yesterday, since I was off of work, and just completely forgot to reset it. Always fun.

Then, I find out that my fiance hadn't paid one of our personal loan payment, and we received a late notice. This especially set me off, as we are trying to buy a house within the next year or so and it's extremely important that everything in his name is paid on time. This led to wonderful argument. Great.

So, we finally cool off, and everything is back to normal. I get ready for work and drive off, thinking about my upcoming days off (Sunday and Monday) and all the errands that need to be run. I stop at a stop light, and I notice my car shudder a bit. I also notice the RPM guage is jumpy and my gas guage immediately started dropping. Before I can even think "What is going on here?" my car shudders to a stop -
just as the light turns green. All attempts to restart do absolutely nothing, and I start wondering how I'm going to get this car out of this intersection. I finally just yell out of the window at the guy in the truck next to me. He immediately jumps out to assist, but starts trying to push the car across the intersection - with traffic flowing as normal! I start to flip out, but the guy keeps trying so I jump out and start pushing and steering it across the road. Miraculously, we didn't get hit, made it across the intersection and to the side of the road. I use the guy's cell to call my fiance and then call work, and finally get the guy to drive me back towards home.
He drops me at a gas station, and I go in to call my fiance to tell him where I am. Their phone does not work, and there are no pay phones anywhere. So, I start walking home in the blazing sun (which gave me a lovely sunburned face).
On the way I come across my fiance walking to work and my friend Tom in his truck. Apparently they called the guy who helped me, and were told I was dropped at the gas station to walk home, and they both went out looking for me. Tom drives me home, and my fiance continues walking to work.
The only good news is that I have full coverage through Geico (who are so happy and helpful you almost want to slap them

) for the car, which includes free towing. I called them and they already have a guy going out to retreive the car and tow it to the service center. He's already called me to verify the car's location and drop off.

The only thing that sucks about that is the service station is closed until Monday, so no vehicle for me until then. So, I'm stuck at home with nothing to do, errands that cannot be done and just an overall depressed mood.
Just a lovely day, wouldn't you agree?
