tears pages from a magazine at the grocery store???

I was soooooo mad yesterday when I got home from the grocery store.  I had bought a copy of Arizona Highways for hubby because the cover indicated it had a special section on fly fishing.  He starts flipping thorugh it and notices it seems like the fly fishing part was really very minimal.  Turns out it was missing 11 pages!!!!      Looked like somebody cut them out with a razor.     I didn't notice cuz I didn't look to make sure all the pages were there.  This was a copy from the checkout rack as well.  Come on -- the whole dang magazine is only $4 and I can't imagine have the brass to cut out the pages in a public place like that.  And my gosh -- an article on fly-fishing??  not the usual target for the average juvenile delinquent sort.

Kinda makes me sad since most of the people I've met that are into fly fishing are really pretty decent folks.  And plenty of the dang flies cost more than the whole magazine would have!!!

Yeah, that's pretty cheap and pathetic.  Just buy the darn magazine -- don't ruin it for someone else who wants to buy it.

I wonder if there was an advertisement or coupon or such on those pages that they wanted (vs the article).

OR some jerk was at the store with his wife and started reading it in the check out and she told him to put the magazine back and he did 'oh sure, I will get even' move.

But yeah, that is pretty darn rude.

Jeez, that's sneaky! Of course you can't just rip it out and let people know it's a bad copy, but you have to razor it so no one figures it out and buys it.

She could not find the cheap ravies at the store only the expensive name brands.  Then she by accident, in a different spot found the store brand cheap ravies.
