we started talking about adopting a second dog before ariana was born, but wanted to wait for the baby to get here first. i wanted to be sure i was able to handle an infant and two dogs, on top of the rest of the zoo. after about a month of looking for the right dog, meeting several that just didn't click, we got lucky!
soju was turned into the pound when her owners decided they didn't have the time fir her any more. she is a pure bred (with papers, no less
) scottish terrier. i didn't like her previous name (bb), and she didn't respond to it, anyways, so we decided to rename her. her previous owners were korean, so we decided to honor her "heritage", and chose soju, a korean alcohol. she came to us with absolutely no manners or training, but quickly proved herself to be a smart little thing! she is a typical terrier, with all the terrier traits. i love her! she is such a fun, fascinating little dog! she is good with the baby and river is so happy to have a four-legged friend again.
