RIP to my darling APH boy, Diesel, who died last week very suddenly in his sleep.
Diesel had an unstable life, by hedgehog standards. He came to me as a well loved and happy pig from a friend, who could no longer keep him due to a change in circumstances. She had originally been given him by someone else who no longer wanted him, and *she* had got him through a newspaper advert ... so no idea on his life before then. But although very grumpy and never a people person, he was a character, and without him I would not have my other hedgehogs - he enthralled me in a way very few animals have ever managed.
