RIP Topaz, I Miss You!!

« on: September 07, 2006, 10:25:27 AM »

The only small pets I have ever had were rats, but I was thinking mice might be fun to care for, too.  I was just wondering what their basics were, housing size required, can they eat the same Harlan Teklad food my rats have with the same Suebee's mix and fruits and veggies?  Can they be kept in a wire cage or is a tank best?  Do they need to be housed together the way rats are?  Sorry for my ignorance on this topic, but I'm just so interested in what other mouse owners have to say besides what you find in care sheets.

RIP to those pets that have already left us.
