To whom it may concern...

« on: August 15, 2007, 03:54:47 PM »

I went to a reptile show about 2 weeks ago in PA and they had hairless mice for sale. MY SO said no at the time but I think he's reconsidering now that I have my room cleared out. Yard Sale!

Problem is, I had never seen them in person before, I can't find any breeders (maybe I'm not looking in the right places). I have researched them and seen many pictures, but just never them for sale. I had always considered and now thatb they were in front of me it was very hard to resist (but not as hard as if I had been on my own)

I'm trying to contact the person who was selling, but I really would like to find an actual breeder because this person also breeds feeder rats and feeder mice and I don't want to give someone like that my buisness.

There was a girl who bred them in my area who asked my friend that worked in a petstore if anyone would be interested and he said he knew that I would, but she never came back....

I'm in TN, willing to travel. Definitly willing to adopt.

I wish I could help you!  My hairless mice came from a test lab.  They were both females, and sterile and both of them had immune deficiency disorders.  One died and the other my boyfriend fed to a snake  Cry Dont worry, hes been dumped.  Actually they didnt even look like mice, well they did but they looked more like little alien things...lol

I highly suggest joining the forum at The Fun Mouse if you are serious about finding true hairless mice. For awhile there I had a line of tricolor and splashed mice that threw fuzzy hairless, which are quite adorable! Unfortunately my line had lots of issues and I no longer keep or breed them.

What issues did they have?
